Dialogue[edit]
- Hi! You're new. Are you a traveler? Did you come from Central Tyria? We've had some other travelers from there, but not a lot. Do you have lots of adventures?
- I'm from Central Tyria.
- The only place I've heard of is Lion's Arch. Some defectors want to go live there. What's it like? Can you tell me stories about it? Or anything else?
- Second Lion's Arch was a pirate trade city, until Scarlet came.
- Who's Scarlet?
- Her armies razed the city. It had to be rebuilt.
- Oh! She sounds horrible. The way the defectors talk, I thought Lion's Arch would be a safe place, but it's not, is it?
- Do you want to hear another story?
- Absolutely! I love stories and hearing about new places.
- Second Lion's Arch was a pirate trade city, until Scarlet came. (Same as above.)
- We defeated Mordremoth, but the Pact fleet fell. (Same as below.)
- We slayed the dragon Zhaitan over the ashes of Orr. (Same as below.)
- Lion's Arch is a big mercantile center, lively with festivals. (Same as "It's a big mercantile center, lively with festivals.")
- Never mind. I'm out of stories.
- At times, no, but the defenses are stronger now.
- On second thought, this isn't a story for children.
- (If completed Hearts and Minds)
- We defeated Mordremoth, but the Pact fleet fell.
- Mordremoth downed an entire fleet? I've heard of Elder Dragons, but I never knew they were that powerful. That must have been an epic battle!
- It was. I was there. But many lives were lost.
- Oh. Yeah, I guess that happens in a big battle. But still, you defeated a big, huge dragon! You're a real-life hero! If people could still ascend, I bet you would!
- Do you want to hear another story?
- Thanks. See you around.
- You could say that. Take care.
- (If completed Victory or Death)
- We slayed the dragon Zhaitan over the ashes of Orr.
- Oh! I don't want to hear about Zhaitan. I like hearing about dragons, but not him. I used to have nightmares about him when I was little.
- Would you rather hear a different story?
- Fair enough.
- It's a big mercantile center, lively with festivals.
- It sound wonderful! I've never even been to Amnoon. I can't event picture a city that big.
- It has an aerodrome.
- You mean for airships? Wow! I used to have a toy airship, but it was just wood and didn't look very real. Anyway, my brother stepped on it.
- There's also a gate to protect against karkas. (Same as "There's a gate to protect against karkas" below)
- It also has a harbor. (Same as "The harbor is pretty impressive" below)
- Do you want to hear a story?
- It happens.
- There's a gate to protect against karkas.[sic]
- I've never heard of karkas, but if Lion's Arch has to put up a big gate to keep them out, I don't want to meet any!
- There's an aerodrome, too. (Same as "It has an aerodrome" above)
- It also has an harbor. (Same as "The harbor is pretty impressive." below)
- Do you want to hear a story?
- Good call.
- The harbor is pretty impressive.
- I've never seen a harbor. Amnoon has one, right? I want to go on a ship someday. Maybe I'll be a sailor and travel all the way to Lion's Arch.
- There's an aerodrome, too. (Same as "It has an aerodrome" above)
- There's also a gate to protect against karkas. (Same as "There's a gate to protect against karkas" above)
- Do you want to hear a story?
- It's very possible.
- Maybe you'll see it someday.
- Not right now.
- I'm not up for answering questions now.
