Acquisition[edit]

Activate the crystalline heart after being buffeted by one of these wyverns in the Verdant Brink canopy:
- Legendary Wyvern Patriarch
- Legendary Wyvern
or in Convergences at the final boss:
- Sorrow
- Dreadwing
or in Inner Nayos at the end of the Nyedra Surrounds meta event The Fangs That Gnash:
- Knaebelag the Terror
Get struck by the "Wing Buffet" skill, and then double click the heart while not in combat to obtain the collection item. You can determine if you've been hit by the Wing Buffet skill by looking at your combat log.
Asides from Nighttime Verdant Brink wyverns, the following also are known to work:
- The Wyvern during [Group Event] Slay the Wyvern! (80)
- The Wyvern during Defeat the wyvern so the Pact helicopter can land (80)
- The Wyvern Matriarch that Qadim spawns in the Mythwright Gambit raid.
Despite the Branded Wyvern using Wing Buffet in Eye of the Brandstorm it is not possible to get the Windy Heart there.
