Auto-retreat[edit]
How do you mean auto-retreat? :) (Did not play the demo.) - Infinite - talk 01:57, 6 September 2010 (UTC)
- Fear, I presume? Also. yes, can you do anything while you auto-retreat? Like cast or attack things you walk by? Venom20 01:59, 6 September 2010 (UTC)
- no, not talking about fear. i'm talking about skills such as hornet's strike. if you use the skill, your character is forced to move backwards a ways. it's the same with a couple of other skills as well. what you see in the skill animation for hornet's strike is not evasion, it's the skill at work. - i did see fear used though, and it lasted for a grand total of maybe 5-7 sec. it's basically another version of knockdown. Varve 02:03, 6 September 2010 (UTC)
- Ah. I thought it was a new form of dumbed-down tactics. Hornet Strike is just a skill to quickly get out of range to swap to Shortbow then. Nothing game breaking, but man you had me worried there. ;) - Infinite - talk 02:08, 6 September 2010 (UTC)
- yeah, nothing seemed to be broken during my playthrough, not even fear/death shroud. the skill videos on the gw2 website make them look far more impressive than they actually are Varve 02:09, 6 September 2010 (UTC)
