Camera glitch[edit]
Don't worry, if people want to zoom the camera out, they can just hack the game.--Relyk ~ talk > 22:48, 8 April 2013 (UTC)
Map Breaking[edit]
There are lots of neat map breaks I know of to get to the edge of the world. If you want to see any add me in game (Psycho Robot.7835) and I can show you other ones. Psycho Robot (talk) 22:09, 28 December 2013 (UTC)
- I posted instructions to the map break I was talking about to reddit. I figured, if I'm going to make instructions, I may as well share them with everyone. Sorry I wound up being unable to show you in person. Psycho Robot (talk) 23:39, 5 January 2014 (UTC)
Related skills[edit]
Many of the related skills you're adding to pages really don't belong on each page. Just because it has a similar mechanic, doesn't mean it should be noted on every page, as long as the page links to the mechanic that's similar, such as teleport or condition for removal skills. •••Mora 19:32, 11 January 2014 (UTC)
- I don't add them just because they have a similar mechanic (eg. shadowstep or condition removal), I add them because they are very similar (both Lightning Flash and Shadowstep teleports you to a freely choosen nearby location, Whirling axe and Dagger storm are both channeled attacks (not just skills) that damages neary foes). For example, I didn't add Signet of Agility as a related skill on the Shadowstep Page. --Ooola (talk) 20:00, 11 January 2014 (UTC) EDIT: ..even though Signet of Agility removes conditions. --Ooola (talk) 20:03, 11 January 2014 (UTC)
Skill ids and others[edit]
Hallo. If you wish to add an id/chat link to a skill, item, or something else, you can find out the id number in-game by typing /wiki followed by a space, then shift+click on skills, items or other things to enter chat links. Then you hit enter and it will pull up a search page on the wiki where all the ids of your links are listed, if they are not linked to any other article. Psycho Robot (talk) 22:45, 15 January 2014 (UTC)
- I did that with the Encumbered, why, did that link not work for you?
- Ah, you've pasted in the chat link directly, which, while it works, isn't how we've done it for the majority of pages. What psycho robot is describing is that it produces a number (in this case 1159) at the top of the search results. Users can then paste it into the infobox. There is some wiki internal stuff that then links any further searches of "[&B4cEAAA=]" to the page with that id (convoluted I know, but hey whatever works right! :) ). -Chieftain Alex 23:26, 15 January 2014 (UTC)
- Putting the numeric ID in the infobox is also what makes the /wiki [...] search function properly. :P —Dr Ishmael 02:47, 16 January 2014 (UTC)
shield stance[edit]
Hey - I undid your edit talking about Riposte as an alternative.
The reason is, I feel this wiki should generally avoid those types of value judgments, lest we be seen as "telling players how to play" - which is subjective and muddy terrain, rather than facts. In the past, this has been a big distraction, with people getting upset over their advice being reverted and that kind of thing...
That is just my opinion though, not an official policy of the wiki or anything. Vili 点 16:05, 17 June 2014 (UTC)
