sylvari remake

It's not a rumor that the sylvari are being remade, it comes from the horse's mouth, so to speak. However, it was never said that they were being redesigned to be more mature. That would go in the opposite direction of what ArenaNet wants for the sylvari as a race. --Naoroji 10:21, 24 November 2010 (UTC)

Note "Rumors", meaning it's not meant to be taken as fact. How could Sylvari be redesigned without looking more mature? They are restricted to being plant-type people, from the Southern Maguuma, meaning they need to resemble the flora there somewhat. It's a pretty big restriction there. They can still look young, naive and stupid and all the other gimmicks Anet wants, but they can easily do it looking like they're in their late teens/early twenties, instead of 10-12. The males aren't as bad as the females, the females are just ludicrously young looking. Anyway, it's a "rumor" for now, and marked as such, so I doubt anyone with half a brain would take it as fact.--Gerroh 02:49, 25 November 2010 (UTC)

You shouldn't make fun of PS2. Nor GW1. GW1 had awesome graphics. It still has. Unless you play on low resolution and graphical quality. Which indeed makes GW1 look like Final Fantasy X.

I wasn't makin fun of Ps2, I loved PS2, it's the system I've had more games for than any other, HOWEVER it's outdated. GW1's graphics are alright, but again, outdated, and I don't think they were on par for '05, '06, and '07. I agree that Jecht was a badass, but there's too much around Tidus to tell it from Jecht's point of view, like the end, in order for Jecht to win, the world has to lose. And then there's that theory that all of FFX was just Tidus dreaming just as he was about to die. Tried to google for the page I read it on, but couldn't find it.--Gerroh 04:44, 26 July 2011 (UTC)

Sylvari images

Could you please, in the future, comment in a singular centralized location instead of both commenting in a centralized location and on several talk pages. Not only does it create unnecessary work (i.e. I have to tag the moved talk pages for deletion as well as the image pages) but it doesn't make the job get done any faster.
Also, in all the time that you took to type out that paragraph ranting about how "the images were clearly hastily uploaded to the wiki, without much consideration for where they really should go[,]" you could have been bold and moved all of them. Also, we're not here to lecture each other, but improve our present and future contributions. So please assume good faith and take all this as advice from fellow user. sig image size

G'Day. I noticed that your sig image is slightly larger than it is supposed to be. Your image is currently 20px and actually should be no larger than 19px. May I suggest that you use the following code for your signature: [[File:User_Gerroh_GerrohEmblem.gif|19px|link=User:Gerroh]] Noticed that I added a size to your image without uploading a new image, and I also shortened your link. Just popping by to mention the 19-pixel height restriction isn't arbitrary- that's the maximum height an image can span before it disrupts the line spacing of the text. 22:29, 21 March 2012 (UTC)

The old sig image was just carried over from another purpose where 20x20 was needed. I replaced it with a slightly modified different picture. And I'll probably replace it again with something proper when I start to post on the wiki regularly.--Gerroh 19:51, 27 April 2012 (UTC)
