Three things

Hello, three things

(1) You appear to be creating a userpage for yourself, but under another account name, which doesn't appear to be registered afaik. You're currently logged in as "User:Heavyeagle" so creating a userpage titled "User:Drizzt" doesn't make much sense from my perspective. Are you creating a page for someone else? Is it just you?

(2) I've undone your edit to User:Inquest Overseer Ezrielia - I'm guessing you unintentionall saved the edit rather than pressing show preview + just copy/pasting the code into whichever page you were really thinking of.

(3) Is [[User:Chief1]] also you? (same IP) -Chieftain Alex 00:27, 23 December 2020 (UTC)

User images

Your user images should be named as [[File:User Drizzt.1796 <file name>.jpg]] (in the feature your new username) and also have {{User image|Drizzt.1796}} on the file page. Either you can move them, or some admin will take care of it. Holding off from doing it right now since you probably have your account name changed. —Kvothe (talk) 13:25, 24 December 2020 (UTC)

If you are not satisfied with an image you can upload a new version on the file page ("Upload a new version of this file") e.g. File:User Drizzt.1796 Kern.jpg instead of creating a new file File:User Drizzt.1796 Kern 2.jpg. Another thing, i saw your note on File:User Drizzt.1796 Kratos Flameheart.jpg saying you want it to be deleted. If it is really so, please use the {{delete}} template (use like this: {{delete|<reason>}}). DJemba (talk) 13:47, 4 January 2021 (UTC)

Wolf gif

Hey Drizzt.1796 I saw your recent upload [[:File:User Drizzt.1796 Wolf Gif Howling.gif]]. While the general internet community does not seem to care about ownership rights (there are mulitple instances asking for attribution for this gif). To be clear, unless you are the original creator of that image or the original creator released it under compatible licensing, you cannot legally use it on the wiki. If you don't know the source, we'll have to delete it. - Felix Omni 20:39, 16 March 2021 (UTC)

Found it, was released onto https://giphy.com/gifs/wolf-howling-fa52tjli2wTza , A site made to post gifs and we are allowed to share it; it was released into public domain by it's Author. —Drizzt.1796 (talk) 21:09, 16 March 2021 (UTC)

Unfortunately, that is not what public domain means, and giphy provides no information about that image's author or licensing terms. Since you can't provide proof of ownership or licensing I'm going to have to delete the image, so please remove it from your userpage. As a general rule, you can't just find images on the internet and use them here, as (unlike social media, messaging apps, etc) we have to abide strictly by copyright laws to fulfill our own licensing terms. - Felix Omni 23:50, 16 March 2021 (UTC)

Palawa Joko

Hey, we have moved the page back to "Palawa Joko" as we use for wiki pages the NPC names you can see ingame (and if they have several, like Kasmeer, we use the most used), not their full lore names. So even if Joko's middle name is Ignacious, the page is still "Palawa Joko" since that's how his NPC is named ingame. ~Sime 15:29, 1 April 2021 (UTC)

As you wrote in the summary of [[:File:User Drizzt.1796 Kalmar the wolf.png]] the art is from the book cover of "The Warden and the Wolf King", by Andrew Peterson and as such not allowed to be used on the wiki. —Kvothe (talk) 12:50, 17 May 2021 (UTC)
