Skia "Swiftstrike" Chen is a human Deadeye. She is formerly a part of Krytan Nobility, until a Ministry Guard laid ruins to her family and wealth, effectively putting an end to her bloodline. With her family's background as infamous scientists, Skia was subjected to an experiment that would forever turn her into a murderous assassin. Despite Cyrus' attempt at putting an end to this experiment, she managed to escape, further pushing herself into the dark path and embracing her identity molded by her traumatic past.

Personality

Skia displays a characteristic of a loner, generally avoiding any social interactions with others altogether, unless absolutely necessary. When she interacts with a person, however, she generally expresses annoyance, should the conversation drags on more than she wishes to engage with. Despite being seen in public regularly, Skia does not seem to mingle with anyone nearby, and instead prefers to be alone.

Her only sense of enjoyment, however, seems to come from engaging with her foes, particularly in a situation in which she holds the power dynamic. Skia appears to cherish on dominating her "victims", preferring to take the time to torture and play with them instead. It is possible that she may even spare their lives, provided she believes that her victims would fall into the same power dynamic again.

Combat Abilities

Skia possesses an enhanced version of Deadeye's Mark, which not only grants her an increased range in casting it against her target, but doing so will also allow her to track their presence, even when her line of sight is obscured by stealth or physical obstructions. Her expertise in Critical Strikes and Deadly Arts ensures that her target will always be taken down, but not before they go through an agonizing journey of death, much to her amusement.

Skia is a ranged fighter, using her Rifle to engage from afar. Her emphasis in dexterity and precise strikes means she prefers using it and Revolvers as her primary weapons, with dual Karambits for melee engagement, and a Short Bow when a silent approach is needed.

Trivia

• Skia was made in-game via a Total Makeover Kit as a replacement for Condina, who would later be re-made as a separate character three months later.
  • Coincidentally, both characters are related in a sense that Condina is a "precursor" to Skia's experiment, which would also explain Emilie and to an extent, Emmalee's powers.
• Due to her glowing red eyes, it is implied that she underwent an experiment that involves Bloodstones, which would then explain her supernatural power compared to other Deadeyes.
