Emmalee Cheong Silverlake is a human Daredevil working for The Order of Whispers. She is an alternate counterpart of Emilie Silverlake, who went through a similar yet different path in her home world. Having participated in the Mists War, she ended up appearing in Emilie's world by accident, prompting her to start a new life and leave the old one behind.

Emmalee is a part of the "Odd Marbles", a group of Whispers agents from different backgrounds, coming together to work as a team for a betterment of Tyria. Despite the initial protest from other members, she was eventually accepted into the team thanks to her alternate counterpart vouching for her, and subsequent efforts in earning her place as an agent.

Personality

Despite being a doppelgänger of Emilie, her personality greatly differs, partly due to the lack of Reine and her family's involvement in the original timeline. Without anyone lending a hand to save her from being an orphan after her family's fallout, she has adapted to the harsh environment in the streets of Divinity's Reach, becoming hardened and distrusting towards anyone she runs into.

Because of her cynical view on the world, Emmalee does not hold herself back when it comes to fighting someone, verbally or physically, provided she can justify her doings later on. Nevertheless, she only resorts to violence as long as it's to defend herself from harm. Should anyone try to befriend her, difficult as it may be, Emmalee is willing to risk herself to save them, showing her more loyal side in contrast to her typically-seen aloof nature.

Combat Abilities

Emmalee does not possess the ability to Steal from her opponent, rather she unknowingly uses a weaker version of Deadeye's Mark to fixate on her target and inflict precise strikes onto them. Additionally, her focus on Critical Strikes and Acrobatics ensure her survival through tougher fights and the ability to hit back just as hard.

Despite dual wielding Revolvers in both her hands, Emmalee prefers fighting in close range, combining her marksmanship with hand-to-hand combat for a lethal fighting style. To further compliment this, her alternative weapons of choices vary from a Short Sword to a pair of Daggers, and a Bo Staff. A Rifle is sometimes used when she finds herself away in a distance from her foes.

• Emmalee is a continuation of the first character made by yours truly, based on a character named "Iemolie", as opposed to Emilie which was re-written into a separate character.
  • Because of their shared evolutionary timeline, Emmalee is also technically the "first" character made on this account.
• Because of the inherited genes from her mother, who in turn served as a survivor of an experiment to create a super soldier, Emmalee possesses some of the abilities from a Deadeye, namely the ability to make use of a weakened Deadeye's Mark.
• Emmalee is said to have a fascination for anything firearms-related, which is reflected on her weapons of choice.
• Emmalee at one point, was a girlfriend with an alternate version of Nellie The Nutty, but broke up due to conflicting lifestyles. This would prompt her to travel to Mists War, and thus leading her to meet Emilie and her allies.
• Upon arriving to the main Tyria, Emmalee originally wore an obscured outfit that earned her the nickname of "The Red Demoness".
