Amelia Cheong Silverlake, also known as The Jade Knight, is a human Vindicator. She is an alternate counterpart of Emilie Silverlake, who went through a similar yet different path in her home world. Having killed both of her parents while under the influence of Legendary Assassin Shiro Tagachi, she was driven mad and spent the rest of her life traveling within the Mists, challenging and killing anyone and anything she can out of thrill for combat.

Personality

Despite being a doppelgänger of Emilie, her personality greatly differs, thanks to her inherited power being Mist Magic in nature, instead of Shadow Magic that she (and to an extent Emmalee) possess. This volatile power would eventually corrupt her, taking the form of an echo that gradually convinced her to become a crazed Mist Warrior. Despite her best effort to resist such power, she eventually succumbed upon her first kills, which was the line she crossed and could never come back. What's left of her humanity is now overshadowed by the ever-growing thirst for power, making her very difficult, if not impossible, to reason with.

It is arguable whether the person that defines Amelia remains true, as she has become a mere puppet of the Assassin's will. Arrogant and malicious in nature, she enjoys risking even her own life to hunt down and attack those she deems worthy of a challenge, regardless of whether she can actually fight against them. Her short temper, however, can be seen when things aren't going her way, causing her to grow desperate and throw a tantrum using her volatile jade power, in hopes of somehow turning the tide to her favor. Besides whether a foe can pick a fight against her, Amelia expresses no consideration towards others around her, ranging ignoring them, to outright throwing insults without care for repercussions.

Combat Abilities

Amelia is a standard Vindicator, with her greatest strength being the ability to bring Devastation onto her foes, thanks to her great length of Invoking the legendary Assassin that fuels the power towards her body, mind and soul.

Amelia is a melee fighter, and prefers to take it up close and personal with her opponents. While she makes a good use of her Greatsword to cleave them down with her Mist Magic, a Double-sided Glaive proves to be just as deadly once wielded in her hands. Occasionally, she would also summon Jade Shards to attack her foes at range, though this is likely an act of desperation, rather than a prepared attack.

Trivia

• Unlike Emilie and her another alternate counterpart Emmalee, the revenant was created long after both characters were "split" into separate identities, thus not sharing the evolutionary timeline.
• Because of the inherited genes from her mother, who in turn served as a survivor of an experiment to create a super soldier, Amelia possesses some of the abilities from a Revenant, unlike the aforementioned two that gained the power of a Deadeye.
• To make her stand out even more, Amelia's name do not match the pattern of the other two (both starting with "E" and overall sharing similar-sounding letters).
