- Here. Glastium | talk 16:40, 29 July 2011 (UTC)
- I don't see anything describing the accessory slots, and it seems silly that crafting tools would count as accessories. External link would be nice, or word directly from someone who has played the demo and seen this. --ஸ Kyoshi 17:50, 29 July 2011 (UTC)
description[edit]
is there any sauce for this description? i would think that accessories do affect the visual appearance. there may even be a toggle option like the capes in gw1. im gonna change it up a bit. --Moto Saxon 17:42, 29 July 2011 (UTC)
- Accessories, imo, are refering to those which can be equipped in one of the nine slots below your power/precision/etc. And no, breathing apparatus changes your appearance when underwater. It's just a placeholder name though. Glastium | talk 17:54, 29 July 2011 (UTC)
Official Term[edit]
Mouse over an earring. A spoon. Or other non-amulet, non-ring, jewelery item. The type comes up as 'Accessory'. This extends only to those items. Rings are of type 'Ring', and I think the amulet slot is 'Amulet', but I've not found that captured in my screenshots. Torrenal 16:35, 16 June 2012 (UTC)
- I just want to second this- there is no offical term of earring, that is the accessory slot, we need to change this page to reflect the ingame terms, people will be confused because other games have seperate slots.--Stfrn 08:34, 24 July 2012 (UTC)
- This whole page needs to be re-written. The 6 slots located on the right hand side of the hero interface are now all known as "Trinkets." Trinkets is comprised of two ring slots, two accessory slots, an amulet, and a back slot. This is from BWE #3. Bridger 18:49, 30 July 2012 (UTC)
completely agree with Bridger. When I look up accessories i fined everything but accessories. I find rings, earings etc.. everything but the items that go into the 2 accessory slots. —The preceding unsigned comment was added by 70.123.97.76 (talk • contribs) at 00:03, 18 October 2012 (UTC).
Seems the page has been moved from "Accessory" to "Trinket". I approve. I'm thinking we may want a corresponding change to Template:Accessory_infobox, but I don't think my wiki-fu is strong enough to tangle with something like that myself... --Felbryn 08:10, 14 November 2012 (UTC)
seen on character?[edit]
I couldn't see them on my character once I added them. Ramei Arashi 17:11, 20 June 2012 (UTC)
Exotic Level 80 Power/Toughness/Vitality items[edit]
The only Level 80 Exotic jewelry/accessories/trinkets that I've seen with these 3 stats together are in WvW at very high costs in Badges of Honor. Is there a way for PvE players to get trinkets with Power/Toughness/Vitality though?
- Golden Relic of Rin , Durmand's Pen, Consortium Charm, Moon Shell. Whether you add the infusions is up to you. SarielV 02:46, 11 April 2013 (UTC)
- Those are ascended. Several exotic options have also been added in patches; you can now buy soldier's trinkets (including back items) with karma from Keeper Jonez Deadrun, and you can find recipes for Bloodstone Fragment (in Arah), Nightmare Coil (in Twilight Arbor), and Shukov's Launch Codes (in Sorrow's Embrace). Though there's still no jewels with those stats, AFAIK. See also Equipment acquisition by stats. --Felbryn 04:54, 11 April 2013 (UTC)
Bad redirect[edit]
For some reason, "Jewelry" redirects to "Accessory", which makes no sense. Unfortunately I don't know what controls redirects. Could someone redirect it to "Jeweler" for us please? (And even better, tell us where that's done.) Morgaine 02:19, 8 November 2012 (UTC)
- I don't agree with that. Jewelry is a noun that can just as easily be used as a synonym for trinkets. I will turn that into a disambiguation page though, because it's unclear where most people would expect to go when typing in that term. Hold Me Closer, Necromancer 06:14, 14 November 2012 (UTC)
- We're not talking about the English language in general here, but about GW2. "Accessory" means something specific in the game, an item that fits in one of two possible slots only. Jewelry in contrast covers Accessories, Rings, and Amulets, so it is a wider class than Accessory. Consequently while it could make sense to redirect Accessory to Jewelry if Accessory didn't have its own page, it can never make sense to redirect Jewelry to Accessory. Redirecting a generic category to a specific one never makes sense under any circumstances, it's just plain wrong because the second covers only part of the first. - Please read my previous comment, and check what happened to the relevant pages. You're arguing against a straw man. Hold Me Closer, Necromancer 04:49, 15 November 2012 (UTC)

Soulbound on drop[edit]
It seems to me that trinkets are always soulbound except when crafted by a jeweler. The TP catalog seems to support this. I can only find crafted items on it. Can anyone verify? Hold Me Closer, Necromancer 06:31, 14 November 2012 (UTC)
Acquisition[edit]
You can get the ascended ones from the laurel vendors which are not mentioned in the main article, or is this deemed to be 'from a merchant' which is the first entry? Puk (talk) 10:31, 6 August 2013 (UTC)
Trivia is always after Notes[edit]
Any reason other than standardization? BTW - you seem to have missed a few like Sheep. Farshore Ward, The Moot and possibly others. ~ 1Maven (talk) 15:15, 21 August 2015 (UTC)
- It's just common wiki practice; notes are usually more valuable to the article than trivia which - as the name would suggest - offers trivial information that isn't quite related to the article but is still worth mentioning. —Ventriloquist 15:26, 21 August 2015 (UTC)

- These "obsolete PvP amulets" still exist in the PvP Build window which you can access from the Hall of Memories. -Chieftain Alex 16:37, 21 August 2015 (UTC)
Exotic vs Ascended[edit]
The change from Exotic to Ascended trinkets gives the user around 10% improved stats not the 5% mentioned. Who did the maths? -- 91.53.127.112 (Talk)
Totals-Rows in the Attributes section[edit]
If I understand it correctly, the rows that show the total values of the bonuses don't take into account that one waers two pieces of accessory and two rings. Can someone confirm this before I alter the page. Thank you. --Lexxa (talk) 23:29, 15 June 2018 (UTC)
- You are correct. Additional attribute points from a second ring and second accessory are missing from the total. Messenger (talk) 17:29, 6 May 2021 (UTC)
- Belatedly fixed. Please do feel free to edit pages mercilessly. -Chieftain Alex 19:08, 6 May 2021 (UTC)
Berserker + Valkyrie Stats[edit]
The Berserker + Valkyrie Ascended attributes don't comply with the stat totals shown on the tables and as I wasn't sure how best to represent that on the page, thought I would leave a note here. The totals for the trinkets are: Power: 629, Precision: 336, Ferocity: 426, Vitality: 90. Lady Elyssa.2469 10:18, 25 October 2023 (UTC)
