weird behaviour

After a blood elemental incursion a rift appeared and this event started, but whenever I got all skills to A this skill appeared on slot 1-5 and it reset itself. Tyndel (talk) 12:35, 18 October 2016 (UTC)

• this happens when 2 rift events are occurring simultaneously at a location. you can tell this has happened by looking at the events on the right side of your screen. there will be 2 "stabilize the rift" events with timers going. once the timer runs out for one, you will be able to use your rift stabilizer as normal. reason: once you have a rift stabilizer, you can summon a rift at any rift location. if you complete a dynamic event and use your rift stabilizer, there is a chance you will summon a new rift at the event location and cause this glitch. --Vm0d (talk) 15:19, 18 September 2018 (UTC)

Looking for a guide to quickly stabilize rifts

There are 16 possible patterns. At most it will take 3 steps to solve.

These are your easily solvable patterns. They can be solved by pressing one of the 5 skill options.

Is your pattern symmetrical? If yes then press 1 and check the table.

If it's not there then press 3 and it will be.

I have a new solution that will work regardless of how many symbols there are so long as it follows the same rules as it does now. Press 4 until skill 5 is the right symbol. Press 3 until skill 4 is the right symbol. Press 2 until skill 3 is the right symbol. Press 1 until skill 2 is the right symbol and you're done. J.Tesla (talk) 00:48, 18 November 2016 (UTC)

Feedback 2017/06/28

As of (I think it was the June 6th one) 2 patches ago, these events no longer display the event icon. It's hit or miss if you can find one. Sigh, such a shame, as they were great for doing Daily Map Events. --Inculpatus cedo (talk) 12:33, 28 June 2017 (UTC)

Yep, I've also noticed this. Rather unfortunate that they've decided to do this, but understandable. I'm sure many players were coming up to the rift events not knowing what they were and cluttering their HUD with events that they cannot participate in. I completed some maps with exact locations marked rather than having to go off of the heat map, but I've only completed about 1/3 of all the affected maps. Sythe 16:33, 28 June 2017 (UTC)

If you are at the 0,0,0 coordinate for a map you can still see the (very large) list of "Stabilize the Rift" events. For more info see: [Reddit Post]

I am gonna post it here if someone needs help finding the exact spot for this bug, the exact place for Gendarran Fields 0,0,0 is at [15487.7, 13311.3], you can check it using the [Basic coordinate reader], you must be mounted. -201.83.221.66 14:16, 7 November 2020 (UTC)

Last action of stabilization

I followed every step and it went well. But there's something's happening after, which is not documented here (I saw it on a class 1 rift, I don't know for class 2 rifts): Once the correct combination done and the event succeeded, the game will give you 1 action on your weapon skill bar, it's a I (the Roman "1"). If you press it, it becomes a II and so on until XIII, and then it comes back to I. There no description on that action (just "...") and I don't know what is it for. During this time, my character kept doing the "stabilization animation" with a focus bar progressing very slowly. After a while, the breach closed by its-self. If someone knows what is it for, that would be really nice to add it somewhere.
