It's a Giant, my Giant Slayer achievement advanced by one when I killed it. udas 15:24, 27 September 2019 (UTC)
- Neat! Changed. - Felix Omni 15:27, 27 September 2019 (UTC)
- It's only classified as such for balance reasons, similar to the Vale Guardian being labeled as a plant, which is evidently not the case. The Icebrood Construct has nothing in common with giants as we known them in Guild Wars so putting the infobox race as such is nonsensical in my opinion. A note stating that it progresses the Giant Slayer would be enough. The word Icebrood is literally in the name even. I'd argue the same should be done for similar pages like Kudu's Monster and Veteran Uhiwi, in the giants alone, I'm sure there's others. 70.35.211.4 17:20, 27 September 2019 (UTC)
- Yes, that's the reason. It is of interest to note though, since people were using icebrood slaying sigils in their solo attempts (which obviously wouldn't work against a giant). udas 19:39, 27 September 2019 (UTC)
- I'm not saying it's not note-worthy, I think it is. But I think that's exactly where it should be said, in the Notes section, instead of discarding the lore race completely, which I feel is what should always be in the infobox since in a few cases, the mechanical race is in place for balance reasons. 70.35.211.4 21:47, 27 September 2019 (UTC)

lmao all these constructs making our lives hard[edit]
Exhibits A-C:
- Icebrood Construct - Grothmar story
* Legendary Icebrood Construct - strike missions Grothmar and Bjora
- Legendary Icebrood Construct (Bjora Marches) - Meta event for Bjora Marches
- Legendary Icebrood Construct - Grothmar strike
- Icebrood Construct (legendary version) - Bjora strike. (Put on same page as grothmar story?)
Please be aware of changing road conditions and edit accordingly. --Rain Spell (talk) 01:02, 1 December 2019 (UTC)
- Strike Mission for Fraenir has Icebrood Construct with legendary rank, not Legendary Icebrood Construct. ~SimeTalk 01:09, 1 December 2019 (UTC)
- Oh god please why. Yeah I'm just more unhappy with the whole mess.--Rain Spell (talk) 01:14, 1 December 2019 (UTC)
- Yep, my head already hurts from it :D ~SimeTalk 01:14, 1 December 2019 (UTC)
- Turn Icebrood Construct into a disambiguation page. Legendary Icebrood Construct redirects there. Then move/create Icebrood Construct (A Race to Arms) (moved from here), Icebrood Construct (Sanctum Arena) (new), Legendary Icebrood Construct (Storms of Winter) (moved from (Bjora Marches), and Legendary Icebrood Construct (Shiverpeak Pass) (moved from base).
- All four are legendary ranked foes, 2 have the same appearance afaik, third has same appearance as miniature, fourth has unique appearance (some of the time? Haven't done the new strike).
- Simple. Konig (talk) 12:20, 1 December 2019 (UTC)
- Alternatively, since it's "technically" the same NPC (an icebrood construct created by Fraenir), put all four into this page, have Legendary Icebrood Construct be a redirect here, and split the combat abilities into subsections named by the above four () names. It'd be a bit bloated, but since we don't have walkthroughs on the NPC pages it won't be too bloated. Konig (talk) 12:22, 1 December 2019 (UTC)
- Icebrood Construct during A Race to Arms is only champion, not legendary. And yes, during the strike it is "cut" in half with the Fraenir standing in it and holding on it. ~SimeTalk 12:38, 1 December 2019 (UTC)
- The models for the meta one and the strike one are different. (No legs vs legs) I think the base model is the same for the story and strike missions. He just loses an arm in the bjora strike mission. I think a disambiguation page is a good idea. (Until they drop tiny icebrood construct minions on us in a later patch.) --Rain Spell (talk) 16:09, 1 December 2019 (UTC)

- Ugh ArenaNet, what a mess. I've just linked to Icebrood Construct (Sanctum Arena) as the one that the Fraenir summons. -Chieftain Alex 11:43, 3 December 2019 (UTC)
- I was right btw lmao. They added tiny icebrood constructs, though without the name. --Rain Spell (talk) 06:10, 24 August 2021 (UTC)
