What does this mean? Is this from an old patch that got mistakenly written here? "The new tag costs 300 Gold coin + 250 Badges of Honor; existing commanders may purchase it for half the coin." —The preceding unsigned comment was added by 132.199.48.84 (talk).
- It's from this patch and it refers to the Catmander's Compendium. —Ventriloquist 12:09, 9 August 2017 (UTC)
Replaced traits[edit]
There were quite a few traits that got "replaced" (read: icon may or may not have changed, skill facts changed either slightly or a lot, name changed completely, ID did not change). I've been creating new pages since Anet worded their patch notes as if these were completely different traits (as most were), but it's probably a good idea to discuss if we want to have them all separate or if we should just move the old trait page to a new name and change the version history to match. So far I've just been adding a note on the version history linking to the new trait page, and a historical marker. Thoughts?--Rain Spell (talk) 23:36, 9 August 2017 (UTC)
- I did the same thing, but coming across the ones that were "renamed" and completely reworked (meaning the only thing it has in common with what it was before is the id and the icon) I asked at Help:Ask a wiki question and Alex figures it should be moved. Feels wrong to me though --Gimmethegepgun (talk) 23:43, 9 August 2017 (UTC)
- From what it looks like, I think he meant that if ONLY the name was changed (and perhaps a small part of functionality), then it should just be renamed with a note. I think for the major changes, like where some traits were 100% changed, that you mark the old one historical, and create a new page for the new trait. That makes the most sense to me.--Rain Spell (talk) 02:06, 10 August 2017 (UTC)
