awesomeness ON A STICK! --The Holy Dragons 15:36, 3 March 2011 (UTC)
Is this skill close enough to link GW skill under trivia? Cirdan 08:41, 19 March 2011 (UTC)
- yes. --The Holy Dragons 10:11, 19 March 2011 (UTC)
- I agree. I don't get why they changed the name..."Leaping Death Blossom" is kinda...too much Corvus 11:47, 19 March 2011 (UTC)
- The skill should've been named Death Blossom and the trait for an extra hit should've been Leaping Death Blossom, in my opinion. - Infinite - talk 15:08, 19 March 2011 (UTC)
- Well you do kinda leap in the base form so I'm fine with it. --Moto Saxon 15:12, 19 March 2011 (UTC)
- Adding a GWW reference to a partial skill name is about as ridiculous as adding a link to Leaping Mantis Sting solely because it has the word Leaping in it. The skill is either the same or it isn't, and in this case, it isn't. Why don't we then add partial references to so many other articles. For instance, Brawling Uppercut can be added to Uppercut, Battle Scars can be added to Path of Scars, and perhaps Hunter's Shot could be added to Hunter's Call. Just so we're clear, I disagree with the page and it's current reference as well as these ridiculous ones I have suggested. Venom20 12:38, 25 May 2011 (UTC)
- I'd say we remove the Trivia here BUT add it at the Death Blossom Page. --The Holy Dragons 12:48, 25 May 2011 (UTC)
- Agreed. - Infinite - talk 13:13, 25 May 2011 (UTC)
- It's easier to find its relations back to GW if we put it here rather than the trait page, as not all the GW2 players played GW. imo. Glastium | talk 13:24, 25 May 2011 (UTC)
- And obviously, the idea of naming Leaping Death Blossom comes from Death Blossom in GW, while it has nothing to do with Leaping Mantis Sting at all. Glastium | talk 13:26, 25 May 2011 (UTC)

Leaping?[edit]
http://www.arena.net/blog/video-guild-wars-2-sound-design 1:48. 'This is the thief skill "death blossom".'--83.82.62.210 14:59, 4 August 2011 (UTC)
- Also noticed that. It never made sense that Leaping Death Blossom would be the skill and Death Blossom the trait in the first place. Gamescom footage should conclude the mix-up. - Infinite - talk 15:39, 4 August 2011 (UTC)
Iniciative[edit]
3 or 4? On page says 4 but on thief's skills 3.... 89.75.188.122 16:52, 28 February 2012 (UTC)
Name changed[edit]
So as of BWE2, this skill is now called Death Blossom in-game.
It also costs 5 initiative, and on top of everything else it already does, it also causes you to evade. -- DrakeWurrum 02:13, 10 June 2012 (UTC)
Activation time[edit]
The 1/2 second activation time - I thought this was the duration for which the effect (you leaping over the enemy) lasts. But after playing with this, it feels that there's a noticeable delay between when i press the key, and the time the skill is activated - like a 1/2 second delay. This specifically makes evading attacks with this skill much more difficult, since you have to anticipate when attacks will begin, not just watch for visual queues. I don't think what I was seeing was due to lag - but can anyone else confirm this? ZenonSeth 13:03, 22 March 2013 (UTC)
