Queen's Jubilee changes
I see 2 new dailies available, but I don't know how to add them to the table. In fact, I'm not even sure what they are. :)
- Krytan Torchbearer
- Daily Activity Participation
Daddicus (talk) 03:36, 7 August 2013 (UTC)
- Added variables 12 and 13. We'll have to keep track over the next two weeks now. —Dr Ishmael 03:48, 7 August 2013 (UTC)
- Sadly, it's going to be more complicated than just two weeks. Yesterday, after the update, there was two new daily achievements as well : Daily Activity Participation (which I'm guessing is about the activities mentionned by Kiel, such as Crab Toss and Southsun Survival, since nothing I could do in the Queen's Jubilee would validate it), and a Daily something about the balloon tower events (3 had to be done). I don't remember the exact name, and it's not in my Recently Completed list anymore. I suppose there'll be new daily achievements in the rotation with each new Living World update, and this is going to make the complete automation of this page pretty much impossible... 88.140.237.35 03:59, 7 August 2013 (UTC)
- Also worth mentionning : I just did the Krytan Torchbearer achievement. I expected it to get validated after 1 torch run as the description said, but it only got validated after I did all four. No progress was displayed after the first three. However, there are two things to take into consideration :
- * I did the first three runs under the effect of a god's speed boon
- * I did the Upper City run last.
- So in order to be sure what completes the achievement, could someone please try doing it without any speed boost, and try doing the Upper City run first ? Thanks. 88.140.237.35 04:26, 7 August 2013 (UTC)
- I completed the Kormir road run first and the upper city run second. Then I received the daily. It looks like only the upper city run counts towards the daily. ~ dragon legacy 10:29, 7 August 2013 (UTC)
- The people in Divinity's map chat confirm this problem and they claim that only the palace run counts. ~ dragon legacy 10:38, 7 August 2013 (UTC)
- Regarding the activity participation, I would assume that it will stay there forever given that we now have a permanent rotation of activities. Wonder if this will affect the separate Keg Brawl daily.. poke | talk 11:03, 7 August 2013 (UTC)
- ^ Exactly what I was thinking. If I'd been paying attention right after I got home from work yesterday, we could've already known, but now we'll have to wait 3 days until the next Keg Brawl daily comes up. —Dr Ishmael 13:01, 7 August 2013 (UTC)
- Updated. And removed the other KB achievements, assuming they'll be replaced as well. —Dr Ishmael 15:08, 10 August 2013 (UTC)

Feel free to add to this if I don't get it first on any day. —Dr Ishmael 01:38, 9 August 2013 (UTC)
- I’ve seen that a Daily Activity Participation article exists. Maybe we just want to do that over there; or somewhere at Activity#Historical_ Recurring Activities.
- On a site note, I’m documenting the Living World dailies here. poke | talk 13:25, 9 August 2013 (UTC)
- That's because every daily achievement is 1 tier and awards 1 AP, we don't really need a big overblown template to display them. —Dr Ishmael 20:00, 9 August 2013 (UTC)
- And a repeat on the 4th day, although this obviously isn't a restart of the cycle since we haven't seen Keg Brawl yet. —Dr Ishmael 02:28, 10 August 2013 (UTC)
Looks like we might have a 7-day rotation on activities. —Dr Ishmael 01:38, 15 August 2013 (UTC)
Yep, definitely a weekly rotation. Now what are we gonna do with it? —Dr Ishmael 01:36, 17 August 2013 (UTC)

is anyone else having problems with karma spender? i bought 2 orrian jewelry boxes, then 4 packs of mangoes, and the achievement never triggered. —The preceding unsigned comment was added by Keithmcm (talk • contribs) at 00:31, 9 August 2013 (UTC).

Daily subobject
Whew, User:Relyk/sandbox/dailycategory would have the table somewhere or maybe on "List of daily achievements". User:Relyk/sandbox/daily then pull the subobject data and displays it (formatted with User:Relyk/sandbox/daily, with a single line of code >.>). Then I have an example where we would pull all the achievements that contribute to Queen's Jubilee Completionist meta achievement; thankfully I have it coded to display the category so you can see all the achievements across categories. I am using the parent property right now since we don't set a meta achievement property yet, because we assumed only achievements within the category contribute to the meta achievement. We can also start pulling the daily achievements associated with specific activities such as jumping puzzles and minidungeons with the page property and/or the activity property. All that would have you moving around to the appropriate wiki articles and related achievements.
Or do we we simply not need to implement daily/monthly because we don't need to fully document it and semanticize it; or it's complicated and stuff?--Relyk ~ talk < 06:38, 11 August 2013 (UTC)
- I think that storing the descriptions of the dailies in subobjects rather than variables is a fine idea Relyk - storing it in variables is a bit odd to edit + look at. A while ago I stopped the Achievement table row from storing subobjects outside of the namespace (so your example has been fucked up by yours truly), but I know it would work fine. List of daily achievements would work for me, thought I don't see any need to go to great efforts to distribute non-living story achievements on pages around the wiki. -Chieftain Alex 20:06, 14 March 2014 (UTC)
- There isn't any great effort in it, we already did the work. Hence why I could create the subobjects with existing templates and pull the information I need to display. It follows naturally from fully documenting each individual achievement on the wiki.--Relyk ~ talk < 08:46, 15 March 2014 (UTC)

- Alright, I just setup List of daily achievements. A few things are broken enough to warrant either a new template or some changes to the row template.
- The page is populating the subobjects with "Has achievement category::List of daily achievements" - we'd need a parameter/variable to set this as "Daily".
- Title item in each table appears as "achievement".. which is redundant. Similar with icon. I guess we could present it differently.
- Because the AP count is for the entire page, it throws up some error meaning that the AP icon is displaying at the top of the table with no numbers beside it.
- Needs improvement or deletion :p -Chieftain Alex 13:18, 16 March 2014 (UTC)
- Well of course that stuff happens, you're using the template wrong :3 And I would set it as a subpage of Daily because that only requires coding it as BASEPAGENAME and I was planning to do that if we needed subpages. Honestly, I would like for the achievements to simply go on the Daily page like all other achievement categories. The description and notes justify individual pages and the linking I did makes it relatively easy to move back and forth at this point... Maybe.--Relyk ~ talk < 13:35, 16 March 2014 (UTC)
- Well it shouldn't matter where they are since its looking for the canonical name now + its targeting achievements. Move it to wherever you feel like putting it, but it probably shouldn't replace Daily#List of possible daily achievements since thats providing some hints too. (unless you combine them into the daily row template.. >< ) -Chieftain Alex 15:08, 16 March 2014 (UTC)

slayer achievements for The Nightmare Is Over
I find the structure for documenting dailies confusing; where are the Living World dailies? Have they just never been on this page? Anyway...
- You can repeat the story instance and choose the combat options instead of solving puzzles. This is probably the easiest way to find Molten Alliance, Watchwork, and Aetherblade enemies.
- For Toxic Alliance, you can actually kill *any* Nightmare Court (and presumably Krait), whether they are Toxic Alliance or not. I think only ones in dungeons, like Twilight Arbor, might not count.
Vili 点 17:36, 18 December 2013 (UTC)
- Living story haven't been on this page because we don't know what they are till that day where as the others follow a pattern I believe. could add a section for daily added each day but would require someone to manually input the relevant section every day. all krait and all nightmare court are in the alliance, so technically that's why you can kill any imo. :) 12:58, 20 December 2013 (UTC)
- The whole article is heavily outdated anyway. If I can find the time and a good way, I’ll update everything… poke | talk 14:06, 20 December 2013 (UTC)
- Canonically that's wrong. The NPC at Thunder Ridge Camp even tells you that the Toxic Alliance sylvari only represent "a fraction" of the Nightmare Court, probably an offshoot or rogue group. It's less clear for the krait, though.
- Also, the events do follow a pattern. There are a certain number of them for each living story and they repeat after <x> days. So we'd only need to wait for the first repeat if we really wanted to be lazy about it. But even if someone had to add it manually... well, honestly, it's really embarrassing to not have them on the wiki anywhere, so I think it would be worth the effort. - I understand that dailies related to Living Story can be hard to track as their cycle isn't known beforehand. But maybe it would be nice to have some better formated text informing why it's not listed there. What about making something like this maybe and possibly just below that dynamic table of achievements?
Living World daily achievements Living World dailies aren't listed on the table above because they may or not follow the 14-day cycle as the other items, also they cannot be easily tracked until some days after they are released. However, the links below show a list of the possible daily achievements for each Living World meta achievement:
- Of course, I put it inside a table just for highlights sake (an attempt to do kind of "quote" thing) and I know the text could use some revision, but I hope someone could catch my idea. (I thought about use a sandbox page to show how the whole page would look like, but I couldn't find how to make one without screw things up. --Txon Atana - (talk) 21:01, 20 January 2014 (UTC)
10 and 11
Is anyone else seeing two rows in today's daily table that just have "10" and "11" and no text? :\ Vili 点 19:45, 21 December 2013 (UTC)
- As I said in the section above, the page (and the daily rotation template) is heavily outdated… poke | talk 15:56, 22 December 2013 (UTC)
- I have noted that issue and already fixed it, the error was in the Daily template (See: the latest changes for that template) --Txon Atana - (talk) 20:16, 20 January 2014 (UTC)
- Idk which is correct since it was inconsistent on the page, but use either "Daily Mists World Ranker" or "World Ranker" in all sections, not just one bit. -Chieftain Alex 19:12, 14 March 2014 (UTC)
No experience after 5 categorys
I'm not sure of anyone else, but today I did my daily, then did extra categorys on purpose, such as the daily jumping puzzle, but I did not get experience from it. I know because I checked my exp bar before and after the reward was given. I did the Urmaugs JP in the east of LA. Puk (talk) 03:05, 29 December 2013 (UTC)
- Not every daily gives experience, regardless if it's first 5 or not. Mystic Forgesmith, for example, never gives experience. I'm pretty sure daily jump puzzle doesn't either. Vili 点 06:22, 29 December 2013 (UTC)
WvW Dailies are off the cycle
Base on the Daily/Table, we are suppose to have Daily Mists Invasion Defender, Daily Mists Caravan Disruptor, Master of Ruins for 2014-03-14's WvW daily.
But in fact, we are having Daily Mists Invasion Defender, Daily Mists Camp Capturer, Daily Mists Land Claimer' as the WvW daily in game.
I guess something messed up the cycle... Maplemist (talk) 04:47, 14 March 2014 (UTC)
- The WvW dailies have been on their own (full-month) cycle for quite a while now, making them independent from the PvE dailies which are on a 14-day rotation. Unfortunately, nobody updated the daily template yet to support that. You can find the current cycle on Daily/Research, where I maintain the full history about the daily achievements. poke | talk 15:09, 14 March 2014 (UTC)
- Based on that research, I have updated the template to take in account the 30-day cycle for WvW-related items. From all tests I have done (even using the table, also updated and working) everything seems be working as intended. I'll watch over it for a while to check for any inconsistencies or errors, but you can revert it if it was some mistake or something (I hope I didn't break anything else, hehe). --Txon Atana - (talk) 18:51, 14 March 2014 (UTC)
- Only thing that was broken was any occurance of "...World Ranker" - idk the true name of the achievement. -Chieftain Alex 19:13, 14 March 2014 (UTC)
- In fact, I noted that "World Ranker" and "Master of Ruins" appears broken in the example on template page. I couldn't find what was wrong though but as other pages, like Daily and the Daily/Table, showed them properly I took it as finished. About the name, I'll try to check it in game at some point but I believe it's correct. --Txon Atana - (talk) 19:20, 14 March 2014 (UTC)
- Edit: I just saw what was wrong with "World Ranker": on a previous edit I had added "Daily Mists" before that word to fix another issue months ago. In this update I didn't realized that the var name was different from the on in the switch :P In fact, now I see the previous fix would be wrong if the proper name is only "World Ranker". --Txon Atana - (talk) 19:44, 14 March 2014 (UTC)
Transmutation Stone and Crystal still listed as rewards
Shouldn't these be removed, considering they no longer exist? Azure Fang (talk) 10:30, 26 June 2014 (UTC)
- If you mean the list with a graph, I believe it was kept there for statistical purposes only. If you see it mentioned somewhere else in the rest of the text of page, then it is an error. --Txon Atana - (talk) 11:19, 26 June 2014 (UTC)
- Yeah, but it's statistical of how things were, so shouldn't be there. Problem is, we don't have enough data to depict the percentage of tranny charges on that pie yet. Personally, I'm in favour of dumping the chart altogether and replacing it with a sentence saying, "you'll get this always and a small chance of getting one of these too." — snograt 11:34, 26 June 2014 (UTC)
- Converted chart to text + tweaked. I also archived the drop rate page. I doubt we'll ever have as much data as achieved (hah joke) previously, but it'll stop it appearing there. -Chieftain Alex 17:34, 26 June 2014 (UTC)

Daily Feast
This doesn't belong under this subtopic, but i'm a novice user. Daily feast is now 5 items instead of 25. I have no notion of how to change it, but wanted to point it out. Keithmcm (talk) 14:59, 19 August 2014 (UTC)
- Just create a new header for a new topic. :) Daily achievements are "defined" on Daily (achievements) (I don't know why they're not defined on this page, but that would make sense), so I fixed the entry for Daily Feast there. —Dr Ishmael 15:05, 19 August 2014 (UTC)

Cycle has changed since 9/9/14 Feature Pack
Since the feature pack, I have noticed that the dailies are no longer following the monthly fixed cycle exactly. For example for Sept 20, I have Skill Interrupter instead of Daily Gatherer. It also seems that sometimes not everyone is getting the same set of dailies. Veron (talk) 07:04, 20 September 2014 (UTC)

Is this still correct? I don't have Daily Gatherer today. Instead if I have Skill Interrupter. Rest seems accurate.--Fogeltje (talk) 22:24, 20 November 2014 (UTC)
- The page always has been kept up-to-date as possible, but usually daily achievements change all suddenly and it takes a while until the new pattern can be learned and figured out and then the data updated.--Txon Atana - (talk) 00:36, 21 November 2014 (UTC)
- If you notice inaccuracies, please make sure that the date shown above the table matches the current UTC date (if not, press the small “click here” link to refresh it). If you still have different values, please report it—like you did.
- I usually try my best to keep the whole schedule up to date as much as possible. When there is a cycle change, it can take a bit since the public pages show the new cycle though (as I don’t update it directly every day). So yes, the current cycle is fully known and should be correct on Daily/Table.
- That being said, I did make a small error when I updated the cycle before causing 3 days being slightly wrong; in this case, the Skill Interrupter was just shifted by a day. I have fixed that now though, so everything should be correct now. poke | talk 01:42, 21 November 2014 (UTC)
Necromancer Conditions
On the condition removal section, it states that a necromancer can apply conditions on themselves and then remove them and still obtain the condition remover achievement. I have tried this recently and it didn't work. Has it ever worked or has it been nerfed? Stu (talk) 14:35, 21 November 2014 (UTC)
