Skill Videos

Night vision video was awesome. Grass rustling. Windmill creaking. Stars in the sky!? And then the last video. Couldn't get the video in hi-def, but I could have sworn that the woman's boobs shook as she ran - no surprises there obviously. Oh, and take note of how the guy in the pink underwear walks up the slope after coming out of the lake - yes that's right, he's got the walking uphill animation and even stands on an angle, instead of one foot in mid-air. Anyone play RF:G?

I distinctly remember the Ostrich Hammer being an elaborate joke made by Voliton in promoting their game; and in the end, they ended up actually putting it in game as a prestige item; not to combare GW2 to RF:G though, that'd be like comparing Apples to Eggs. Just mentioning this because I seriously doubt this is the last we'll be seeing of the Commando, ANet loves referencing past humor. categorize under professions?

it's clearly a profession, and existed as one for a whole day... even if it is a joke, we have no proof the mesmer is a playable profession either, but because it IS still a profession... shouldn't it go there? It was a joke, the profession was not even real for that 1 day. It was only featured in-game on GW1 (as a form, not a profession) and that information is trivial to GW2W. I do not support categorizing the commando as a profession. - Infinite - talk 17:21, 3 June 2011 (UTC)

On the page itself, it even says it's a gag profession, but it's still a profession - it doesn't need to appear on the profession nav bar or even skill nav bar or anything, but still be in the category for people looking across pages that are "professions". It may be a joke, but it's still a profession; that's how it belongs on the PROFESSION reveal page. Besides, people said it already - once all 8 professions are out, the profession reveal page will die. Nobody will look at it, and the poor commando, a joke PROFESSION will die in obscurity unless people are specifically looking for april fools jokes. ~~ Kiomadoushi 17:58, 3 June 2011 (UTC)

Mixed Feelings

This would've been a great class to have. It's not something you see in fantasy MMORPGs. But engineer was a better choice. This class would be overplayed and it seems to be too great--it outdoes other classes by a TON.But engineer is somewhat fresh, it has a cool mix of abilities (the whole alchemy part of them is great when mixed with mechanical things), etc. --The preceding unsigned comment was added by 173.76.220.66 (talk).
