Talk:Camouflage (unimplemented)
Source[edit]
GuildWars2Live, after 1h40. At least that's what I think it says after staring at it for a silly amount of time. --zeeZ 02:32, 14 March 2011 (UTC)
- is invisibility the same as stealth? (121.73.189.252 06:28, 14 March 2011 (UTC))
- Would be weird in PvP, but thats PvP. --AdventurerPotatoe - 06:48, 14 March 2011 (UTC)
- Apparently you can't use it in combat, and unlike the thief's stealth skills it doesn't give you Stealth (assuming this is the effect that pops up among boons and conditions). another gw2live vid, 5:40 and then around 7 minutes.--zeeZ 12:50, 19 March 2011 (UTC)

usage[edit]
seems pretty weak to me - maybe for trappers that know enemies are on their way... Getefix 18:59, 25 March 2011 (UTC)
- I like the idea. The ranger had to get atleast one stealth skill. --Majere 20:03, 29 March 2011 (UTC)
- id like to move around with it though... Getefix 20:30, 29 March 2011 (UTC)
- Thief. :> - Infinite - talk 21:07, 29 March 2011 (UTC)
- Pets XD i want a ranger/pet pair/quartet to suddenly pop out of nowhere and ambush the enemy - would be useful in pvp, i dont mind the non attacking part, but the movement too? Getefix 21:10, 29 March 2011 (UTC)
- Imagine you have a group of rangers suddenly pop up after you stepped into a massive trapsplosion :D --zeeZ 21:18, 29 March 2011 (UTC)
- shi- *respawn* lol badass Getefix 21:19, 29 March 2011 (UTC)
- All night elves in WoW have this ability and it's one of the best racial abilities. A niche skill but it has so many uses and can result in some pretty skilled play for PvE when avoiding mobs such as patrols, waiting for cool downs or simply health/energy regeneration. In PvP the uses are obvious especially when there are strategic objects people need to get (like capture the flag - an unguarded flag looks like an easy target until the stealthed rangers and thieves pop out of nowhere). 122.111.161.4 07:39, 24 May 2011 (UTC)
- Picture 20 Charr Rangers in WvWvW PvP occupying a fortress, with tracking as another utility, the drake pets also concealed and longbows equipt. Imagine the nemy approching, thinking it's an empty fort untill the charr pop up and barrage the choke point. (at least, thats what im going to do with my guild of close friends (theme guild yeayah))77.166.207.18 21:53, 11 October 2011 (UTC)

Reflect[edit]
When you use with your feet inside water, you turn invisible but your reflect is still there as you can see on this video at 7:56. I have to check if it the same happens with stealth. Lokheit 15:15, 22 May 2011 (UTC)
Invisibility an effect?[edit]
I'd say it qualifies as one, even though we don't know much about it, and I foresee a lot of Stealth vs Invisibility mixups. Heck, for all I know skills that apply stealth could be boons that give you the Invisibility effect, just to make things worse. --zeeZ 21:13, 20 June 2011 (UTC)
Activation[edit]
Is it only activated from Hide in Plain Sight or some other way? Such as standing still for certain period of time? Being unable to use while in combat makes sense that way. Naskapi 00:56, 30 June 2012 (UTC)
Not an effect[edit]
Simply said this isnt an effect. Sure its vissible by giving the player stelth but its just a skill fact of specific skills and trais. Ive checked them all even those in WvW. So my recomendation is to delete this page and set the camuflage as unique skill fact insted. --DiegoDeLaHouska (talk) 13:52, 11 December 2022 (UTC)
