From several of my guildmates I've heard that the dialogue with npc/when placing mirrors doesn't work properly the first time they interacted with them. May be the case? Sime (talk) 18:58, 9 December 2017 (UTC)

But it 'seems' like what should happen is I take her all the ingredients, she gives me 7 mirrors, then I go place those 7 mirrors? I have read some buggy things about the mirrors, but everyone starts those posts by saying, "Okay, I got all the mirrors, but when I go place them...", and I'm like "Uh, how'd you even get the mirrors?" :( 70.162.126.223 19:41, 9 December 2017 (UTC)

So did you get the item in your mail from Yasna after crafting your first astral weapon? Accept that. And take it to Ouissal (hidden sunspear base) on the same character? -Chieftain Alex 20:33, 9 December 2017 (UTC)

Got the item, and took it to her. She took it, and it filled in that slot in the collection. I went to the bank, got all the required materials, went back to her, talked to her, and she told me she could make me mirrors if I brought her the right mats. I asked what mats, and she had her vague summary, so I said, great, make me a mirror! And she said, she could probably make me a mirror, if I brought her the right mats. I said, what mats? And she said, "Third base!" Ha. Ha Ha. She's having a good laugh. Meanwhile, I have a bagful of mats, and no way to get mirrors.  :( Is this time gated? Doubtful - I completed Brandstone Research yesterday, crafted an astral weapon, did all of the Astral Purification achievement, and then crafted a Stellar weapon... all in one day.

I did encounter a bug where I had the materials in my inventory at one point, and she gave me dialogue as if I was missing something - but then i retried and it all worked okay. -Chieftain Alex 09:26, 10 December 2017 (UTC)

Thanks. I even went back after quest reset, nothing. I tried having all the mats, too many mats, mats for just one mirror, nothing. Tried jumping in a squad and instance jumping, still didn't work. Had exited the game several times, switched characters. I'll try again this morning, also have a ticket in. Thanks for the responses and information. At least I know what is 'supposed' to happen, and it's not that I'm doing it wrong. Question: Did you still have the exotic weapon you crafted to open the collection on your possession? I'm an idiot. It's 'ingots' not 'ore'. The confusion happened because originally you just had the list, so I was bringing 140 'ore' there. Later, you updated it to 70, but 'ingots', not 'ore', and I just didn't read. I thought it was ore. 70.162.126.223 20:21, 10 December 2017 (UTC)

I put the note in a shared inventory slot and a different character than my weaponsmith was able to get the mirrors.

AP reward is 3 at tier 1 and 5 at tier 2, not 0 at tier 1 and 8 at tier 2.

I don't know how to edit the achievement table though. I corrected it over on https://wiki.guildwars2.com/wiki/Daybreak_(achievements)#achievement3964 but can't do it on this page. Ninja sloth (talk) 14:35, 1 July 2020 (UTC)

This template takes info from that page, so it is enough to hit the "purge" button on the top. It makes the page refresh info, which is sometimes enough for fix. Thanks for fixing the wrong numbers. DJemba (talk) 18:38, 30 June 2020 (UTC)

Meterial Cost section

I can't figure out how to fix it (or if I should even try to fix it): achievement vendor require Orichalcum Ingots, but in the Material Cost table it's outputted as Ores - I found it confusing moments ago when I tried to blindly follow the table and complete the achievement... :)) Debesyla (talk) 11:08, 4 August 2022 (UTC)
