The Mire Sea is a large body of water located within Mount Maelstrom. The waters are infested with both krait and their Risen counterparts. The area is also the hunting place for the largos assassin Apprentice Yius, who seeks to destroy a powerful Risen krait mesmer.

- Entry point is ramp on northwest side of smaller island.
- Be ready to use Stability so you won't get knocked back into the water.
- Go up ramp to platform, then slightly right. Jump into hammock, then onto bridge. Run Southeast on bridge to wood ramp, up ramp and straight ahead up log rigging.Jump over supplies there and down to platform, then up another log rigging ramp and you will see visible path to Vista
