Dialogue[edit]
- (shortly after Mine Restoration 1. arriving at the Tavern)
- Kensho Arrowsoul: Greetings. I have come to share my wisdom with your guild.
- Greetings, tavernmaster. May the winds lift you to glory.
- Gamli Aðalsteinnson: Winds...? Us, well, thank you. May the winds lift you...a beer.
- Kensho Arrowsoul: Beer, you say? Ah, yes. I would like some of this beverage. Thank you for your offer.
- Gamli Aðalsteinnson: Before you drink anything, I should ask you—have you had beer before?
- Kensho Arrowsoul: Only once, when celebrating the death of Zhaitan with some norn in our trading post. It is...quite pleasent, this beer.
- Gamli Aðalsteinnson: We're going to get along just fine.
- (before Workshop Restoration 1)
- Greetings, guild member, and may the winds carry you to victory. I am Kensho Arrowsoul, and I have been sent to instruct you in the tengu art of scribing. First, we shall need a workshop.
- What is required in order to establish a workshop? (if you are representing the guild)
- (immediately after Workshop Restoration 1)
- I am pleased that you recognize the value in establishing a scribal workshop.
- I will oversee a temporary space to begin our work. Hopefully soon the guild can create a more permanent studio.
- This will be an adequate beginning. We have pen, and ink, and shelter.
- Let us embark upon the ever-challenging study of magical scripts.
- (after Workshop Restoration 1)
- Wind and water, guild member. I am pleased to see you again. What do you require?
- What upgrades are available for the workshop? (if you are representing the guild)
- Who are you?
- I am a scribe from the Dominion of Winds. We tengu see how the world is changing—how the dragons have ravaged Tyria. I have come to lend my aid.
- Tell me more.
- We believe in loyalty, honor, and fate. A virtuous guild, such as yours, exemplifies these things. It is my honor to aid you and serve the Guild Initiative.
- I have another question.
- Thank you.
- Thank you.
- (after Workshop Restoration 1)
- How's the workshop coming along?
- (If at Workshop Restoration 1)
- From these humble beginnings, we will accomplish mighty tasks. Work has begun on a permanent workshop, and such stability will serve our studies well.
- (after Workshop Restoration 2)
- The progress of your guild's scribes has been exemplary. Their quills whisk and flow with the grace of a hawk's wings. I am most pleased.
- I have another question.
- Thank you.
- Nothing right now. Thanks.
- (immediately after Workshop Restoration 2)
- My people say that teaching is also a lesson. It is true. In helping the guild, I have learned much.
- The study of pen and ink is as old as the tengu. My people consider it a sacred and beloved art.
- I hope you will understand that I do not undertake this task lightly.
- Sharing knowledge is difficult for the tengu. We have been betrayed by others in our past.
- I trust you. I trust this guild. It is my honor to educate and serve those whom I respect.
