- These were an Event item for the one time group event Deal with invading karka and collect samples for Research Assistant Bardus in Lion's Arch during the Invasion of Lion's Arch meta event.
- The samples could be given to Research Assistant Bardus during the event and to Researcher Levvi after the event.
