I've stumbled upon the most bewitching alcove in the forest, tucked between roaring, aqueous falls and trees that pierce the heavens! And my hosts, they... Oh my, what souls they are.

A village of kodan, hidden just beyond the gaze of Divinity's Reach! It's quite a small village, although size means nothing when the heart is true...

My hosts seemed quite quizzical about my presence at first, but their leader, Stoic Alder ("stoic" indeed), assured me that I was more than welcome to rest in their den. And rest I have. The views are seductive. Their hot springs melt away the soreness of muscles, leaving one numb but weightless... The sense of danger is just enough to make my walks between homesteads at night titillating.

The embrace of the rugged wilderness is what my soul desired, and I embraced it right back.
