Path of the race |
Ghost Wolf Run is a Guild Race where members transform into a ghost wolf and must pass through Bonerattler Caverns while dealing with traps, bandits, and bats. This race deals mainly with traveling in packs to take advantage of the AoE aegis to get past the very numerous traps, frequently in choke points. Escorts are of limited use here, so players are encouraged to join in the race.
Getting there[edit]

Strategies[edit]
- Primary article: Guild Race#Strategies
- Take your time when you're not in danger. Despite the name, racing quickly along the course is a sure way to stumble upon multiple traps and die quickly, forcing you to start over.
- Use the Search skill (#1) continuously, press Ctrl + Right Click to turn it into an autoattack. Traps are your main enemy along the course, and hitting two traps in a row will quickly cause you to go back to the beginning. Waiting a couple seconds for it to come off cooldown, in a safe location, is usually preferable to blindly wandering into a spike trap.
- Escorts are not much use here due to the low mob density, and the race encourages traveling in packs so it's better to have everyone be wolves.
- Traps are everywhere, so travel with at least 2 other wolves to have Aegis frequently available and spam Search to avoid any that you can.
- Keep an eye on your mini-map, there are a few points where it's not entirely clear where to go. Head in the direction of the blue flags.
