Dialogue[edit]
For previous dialogue, see Farmer Diah/dialogue.
- Make it quick. Running a farm doesn't leave a lot of spare time for chitchat.
- How can I help?
- Now that's what I want to hear! You can tend the corn or keep the cattle occupied. Maybe stomp a few wurm holes. And if bandits try raiding the farm, fend them off.
- Bandits?
- Not a week goes by where those punks don't try to burn my fields, I count myself lucky. I'm also worreid harpies will bust the dam wide open some day and flood me out. Hasn't happened yet, though.
- That's good. See you around.
- Got it.
- I'll leave you to it.
- Oh, hello there! Thanks for all your help. Without you, I don't know what we would have done.
- Any rewards for such a good helper?
- You bet! Here, take a look, and see what you like.
- Thanks!
- So, I think I read a book with you in it... (only if you have read Filling My Heart by Snargle Goldclaw)
- If asura
- Oh no, and you're an asura too. Look, I'm flattered, but my relationship with Jeb is stronger than ever. You can't win my heart, no matter how well you entertain my cows.
- I, uh, was just curious how the book came to be...
- I, um, see.
- Otherwise:
- Oh boy. Look, I don't want to disappoint you, but the real Diah doesn't hit on everything that swings by our farm. I'm in a strictly monogamous relationship with my dear Jeb.
- I, uh, was just curious how the book came to be... (same as above)
- That's...good.
- If asura
- All this work has given me a taste for adventure! Where should I go next?
- I always hear the fisherman brothers, Justin and Travis, complaining about drakes. Maybe you can help them out.
- Great, I'll talk to them.
- You're very welcome.
- During Protect the hay bales from bandits
- No, no, no! How could they do this to us? Don't they eat beef, too?
- I'll go ask 'em.
- No, no, no! How could they do this to us? Don't they eat beef, too?
- Do you have anything interesting for me?
- Of course, dear, you're welcome to take a look any time. Even if there are bandits burning my fields. Here, see if you like anything.
- Thanks!
- I'll go ask 'em.
- During Kill the giant wurm tearing up Jeb's field
- Giant worms now? We have harvesting to do! Why can't they go make holes in someone else's field?
- Bad luck, I guess.
