Escort Yao deeper into the mines

Escort Yao deeper into the mines is a level 80 group event that occurs in Howling Caves. It's part of the east lane events in the The Jade Crisis meta event. Midway through the lane, the Defeat Mal-Chin! event takes place, before resuming the escort. End of the path is blocked by Cracked Facade and requires a Siege Turtle to proceed to the next zone.

Objectives[edit]

Yao: Heads up! Defend yourself!

Yao: Where'd they come from?

Engaging with Mal-Chin: Yao: This is chaos! Let's see what we've got... A Brotherhood captain— Wait, is that Mal-Chin? He's not looking so good...; Yao: He's only captain 'cause he's Chul-Moo's cousin. His mom called Chul-Moo's mom and Chul-Moo's mom demanded—not important.

Dealing with the channelers: Yao: Looks like Mal-Chin has his subordinates restoring his magic. Let's cut them off first. Then we can deal with him.

Yao: That's one! Hope she's not new. Rough start to the job...

Yao: Got the first one! See, this is why I don't always follow orders...

Yao: One down! The Brotherhood needs some serious restructuring...

Yao: Another one down! He's looking worried!

Yao: Two down, one to go! We're getting to him!

Yao: Just one left! We're almost there!

Boss fight success: Yao: "Rabid." Chul-Moo wasn't kidding. Can't believe I'm saying this, but we should keep moving.; Yao: Just...put one foot in front of the other...and keep on trudging...through this living nightmare... Gods...
