Hello, and welcome to GW2W. :) I moved your user image to File:User Wazwolf wolf.gif because that is the correct naming for user images. Mediggo 07:37, 17 October 2011 (UTC)
- Hi Wazwolf, I see you've created a signature on your user page and that's great! but your signature should relate to your username (as in we've got to be able to recognize you as Wazwolf.) --The Holy Dragons 09:03, 17 October 2011 (UTC)
Sorry, I didn't think playing with the sig here was going to show up. I'm finding the various "how-to" guides as I go. Wazwolf
- or you could just ask any of the adept wiki users for advice! ^^ anyhow good luck! --The Holy Dragons 09:22, 17 October 2011 (UTC)
- lol, yeah. Sorry again, I just sometimes feel like it would be a bother for you guys. I have read a few of the discussion pages and how some feel with... uh.... new people lol. I hope my personal stuff isn't popping up on your auto-tracker things. Wazwolf 09:31, 17 October 2011 (UTC)
- haha well new users don't bother me that much as long as they don't forget to sign and press the minor edit and show preview button while editing! ^^ if you do those things you'll find no users flaming you at all! ^^ anyhow don't hesitate to ask me or any other users around here for help (most don't mind helping at all! (we actually enjoy it sometimes)) --The Holy Dragons 09:44, 17 October 2011 (UTC)
- I'm about to swing over to a talk page of one of the helpers. But if end up swinging by my talk page first, I am curious why my signature won't save, even though the one I'm trying to save is shorter than some I've seen... Wazwolf 09:57, 17 October 2011 (UTC)
- do you want that template in your signature too, because you aren't able to have templates in your signature. --The Holy Dragons 10:03, 17 October 2011 (UTC)

Naw, just going for the WAZ. With or without the .gif. I notice a few sigs like that and figured mine would work... unless they type it out always instead of using the four "~"... lol Wazwolf 10:07, 17 October 2011 (UTC)
- May I take a peek at what formatting you're trying to save? Also a welcome from me! - Infinite - talk 10:11, 17 October 2011 (UTC)
- Sure. I'm trying to do this WAZ or even drop the .gif if need be. But I notice my preferences won't let me change my timezone either without an error popping up and sending me to NCsoft customer support. I figure maybe the site is... buggy for now? And ty for the welcomes. Oh, and are we allowed to clear our own talk pages? Not that I mind a record of noob questions and greetings for the next 5 years being the first thing anyone sees....lol Wazwolf 10:18, 17 October 2011 (UTC)
- We typically ask that you move any old or unwanted discussions from your talk page to an archive (say, User talk:Wazwolf/archive) rather than deleting them outright. You can copy+paste or use the move function, either way preserves contributions in one form or the other. 10:23, 17 October 2011 (UTC)
- ty for the feedback. I notice you are all doing "minor edit" when replying to me. I thought that was only for pages? It is common to use when replying to people in talk? What ends up causing more work for those using bots to watch the wiki? Wazwolf 10:27, 17 October 2011 (UTC)
- Minor edits are used in a multitude of ways; most active wiki users have it set to default (via preferences) and thus every edit is marked as minor. Minor edits can be filtered out in the Recent changes. Then we have the serious wiki-ers, who exclusively use minor edits for, well, minor edits (such as comments and touch-ups to articles and what not). There's other instances, but those are the most common uses.
- As for your signature, did you try checking the box underneath the entry field? Although it may also be the case that the string of your signature is simply too long. Either way, it would look like this:

(Reset indent) First time I've seen someone got so big talk page in the first day of registration D:. And welcome! Glastium | talk 15:14, 17 October 2011 (UTC)
- ^ ikr! Haha, I was just thinking that he might need to archive his first 24 hours! :) Welcome to the wiki and The Keg Lourds. --Moto Saxon 15:52, 17 October 2011 (UTC)
- It's either a really great compliment... or foreshadows I really need quite a bit of help, to not end up "that guy" who is always ruining pages and arguing in the talk sections. ;) 24.196.88.216 00:15, 18 October 2011 (UTC)
