Bokoss Ruins screenshot

Hi there, I saw you recently overwrote my screenshot for the Bokoss Prison Ruins in Kourna. I gotta say that yours turned out way way better! Can I ask what settings you used, whether it was night or day, and the status of the meta at the time? I tried a bunch of different angles and it was always super cloudy. How did you get your image? I know a couple of other snowy areas' screenshots that would likely benefit from your technique. AnastashaRomanov (talk) 06:36, 29 April 2020 (UTC)

Hey, I am so glad you like it! I noticed the image used before was cloudy and I believe you got your angle by using the vista. Whenever I used the vista the whole structure looked cloudy so I just stayed at ground level which seemed to fix the problem. The meta was just getting started at Gandara and I have no idea if that made a difference in the nearby scenery or not. I'm gonna say that the picture was taken at daytime since other screenshots I took that same day were. I did not use any post-processing or third-party programs and here are my settings. I'm excited to see someone else excited about screenshots like me! Yay! I'm actually currently working on Guild Wars 2 Wiki:Projects/Cartography PoI Images a good bit, and there's definitely some screenshots which could use your magic touch! The first one that comes to mind is The Weeping Sisters icefall in Thunderhead Peaks. Many of the snowy maps make it difficult to image properly.
