I joined this wiki a bit latter then most, but anxiously await the release, see you in the mists!--Lord Braska, Lyssa's Disciple 14:44, 15 February 2012 (UTC)
- Welcome, O High Summoner. Should you require assistance with anything, do not hesitate to ask. Mediggo 15:49, 15 February 2012 (UTC)
- Thank you for your offer! Though I should point out, my ackomplishments in other realms mean little in Tyria, your help is much appreciated. Your user-page alone has enough useful information for me to mull over as I adjust from Spira to the new Tyria. In the earlier Tyria I was monk, an easy transition. With no monk I am at a loss when I try to label my Spiran profession with a new Tyrian one. Any thoughts?--Lord Braska 16:04, 15 February 2012 (UTC)
- It really depends what you liked most about monk profession, the themes of being a monk (ascetism and selflessness) or the role of most supportive player in GW1. If the former is closer to your experience; Guardians are spiritual successors of monks and paragons. However, if you're strictly thinking about gameplay, all GW2 professions can play support roles when viable. Either way, Guardian is a fine choice because it offers variety of different gameplay styles alongside different roleplaying mentalities - you can be an aggressive punisher or stoic protector. Of course other professions equally provide such choices, not just the guardian. Mediggo 17:22, 15 February 2012 (UTC)
