Image names[edit]
Hello, and welcome. I noticed that you have uploaded many images. Would you mind reviewing proper naming conventions prior to uploading more. While your images are all welcomed pieces of information, they currently all need to be renamed. Cheers and happy uploading. Venom20 15:51, 15 August 2012 (UTC)
- Hi, thanks! Ok only thing, I'm missing then is the following rule, right ?
- format File:<Year> <Month> <short description>.xxx (e.g. "File:2010 August sylvari ranger.jpg").
- For the rest my naming is consistent "as" for armor set, followed by race (4 letters) and gender... — DeoX

- Based on how you're using these particular images so far, I'd assume you want to treat them as user images. In which case you'd want to move them to File:User <Username> <description>.xxx and in this case you'd want to edit them and add the templates

- Ok will try to figure out how to do that (also would like to move them to a subpage of my user page instead). Anyway might not happen in the next few hours as I'll be playing the stress test ^^ — DeoX

- Nah, you still didn't do it right. I moved them all and updated your gallery page with the correct links. — Rari

- Bleh :'(, ok, got it for the next time then... Do you have a tool (or script) to bulk update all those directly on wiki? it wouldn't be a problem on local computer but have no clue on how to do it remotely... Anyway thanks for your help and guidance! — DeoX

- There is a move button at the top of every article (including this one,) see it? That's how you rename a page. I did them by hand, since I don't have a bot account on this wiki (not that it was something so big that it'd want for a bot anyway.) And np, as long as you got it now ;) — Rari
