... and then I remembered that Black Lion Chest records 36 columns. And that the total opened =! the auto-totals. Lol Chieftain Alex 20:16, 5 January 2013 (UTC)
Might want to query for Has weapon type instead of relying on the sort to filter out the other items.--Relyk ~ talk < 02:46, 8 September 2013 (UTC)

Skin stuff[edit]
Good concept, but given that a ton of weapons with wholly unique skins use the same generic icons, I don't think it will be much good as it is now. If you change it to use models, that's another story. What would be peachy to me is an image of each unique skin that allows players to pull up a list of weapons that use that skin. Psycho Robot (talk) 23:50, 7 April 2014 (UTC)
- actually I wanted a way to document the order of how items appear in the wardrobe as they do in the video - if I was wanting to unlock things, the only things I'd care about would be the appearance and where I can get it, so adding pictures isn't totally out of the question. Certainly by looking at the armor, not many of those icons repeat themselves.
- I was also thinking yesterday that Property:Has appearance is about to get a 1:1 mapping to Property:Has skin. -Chieftain Alex 07:26, 8 April 2014 (UTC)
- Your last statement is close to what I'm thinking, but not quite. "Has skin" would point to an article, not a file, that (as I've said elsewhere) documents the skin with a gallery and a list of all the items that have it. Only these skin articles would use "Has appearance" now, and the items that have the skin would look up that property to show the image in their infobox. (If you want multiple views, you have to click through to the skin article.) We'll need a new skin infobox to support this.
- Unique skins (dungeon/cultural/gemstore/etc.) will be special cases where the item page serves double-duty as the skin page, and they will continue to use only the single equipment infobox.
- That's what I'm thinking, anyway. —Dr Ishmael 12:47, 8 April 2014 (UTC)
Notice templates[edit]
I noticed that there was not a template that is similar to {{temporary}} are we thinking of completely getting rid of this notice? If so explain your reasoning. Anzenketh (talk) 23:53, 5 June 2014 (UTC)
- I was going to leave that one as it was. I could easily change it too though. -Chieftain Alex 09:31, 6 June 2014 (UTC)
Borders have beveled corners[edit]
Since these have 1px top/bottom vs. 10px left, it shows as a tiny stairstep on the left border - the right-hand half of it is cut off by 1px on top and bottom. It bothers me, so I found a solution:
It has been suggested that this page, User talk:Chieftain Alex/sandbox2, be moved to A because: "B". |
(The final width is different from your version because the padding moves to the inner div - this way, it's actually 60% instead of 60% + 2em.) —Dr Ishmael 14:04, 6 June 2014 (UTC)
- it bothered me too... I was considering reducing the width of the left border to make it less visible (7px or so). If I still had my blackberry (replaced it the other day) I'd mention that absolute positioning doesn't work on certain mobile devices.
- alternatively we could stick the color bar on the outer div as a background, and use a 1px border on the inside instead.

admittedly this still has the stair step thing, but its less visible. -Chieftain Alex 14:32, 6 June 2014 (UTC)- nevermind, apparently no stair for 1 px border meeting 0px border :P -Chieftain Alex 14:38, 6 June 2014 (UTC)
- That works for me - less complex is better.
- I just noticed that at a high zoom level, the left border overlaps the box-shadow. It's pretty much invisible at normal zoom, though. —Dr Ishmael 14:41, 6 June 2014 (UTC)

- technically its just touching the silver border, which happens to show as exactly the same color as the shadow. I see your point though I don't know if we can do anything about that other than removing them, which I'd be up for. Looks fine both with and without imo. -Chieftain Alex 15:30, 6 June 2014 (UTC)
- Ah, I see now. But since you gave the option, I think I actually like these better without the shadow. —Dr Ishmael 17:15, 6 June 2014 (UTC)

Let's talk about the important stuff[edit]
Which quaggans should be used for which templates??? My suggestions would be historical content/out of date/discontinued content, future content, unimplemented content, a hypothetical "seasonal content" template, move tag (alternate), CFD/copyvio (alternate), cleanup, rewrite, merge(?) (alternate), a hypothetical "protected" template, generic notice, generic warning (possibly replace text on sign). This would still leave a number of obviously excellent pooba quaggans unused, but we can just invent more templates, right?! –Santax (talk · contribs) 19:53, 7 June 2014 (UTC)
Quick links[edit]
so which of the links here are actually useless/what is missing? Do people really need 3 links to each dungeon when the unqualified article has links to the other two in the first section? -Chieftain Alex 07:18, 24 June 2014 (UTC)
Personal story flowchart[edit]
ideas on making it pretty? -Chieftain Alex 22:25, 18 May 2016 (UTC)
- Add quaggans and sparkles and rainbows. Or in all seriousness, colour code it by race, like how it is on tables? For the shared model tables, I'm grabbing whatever colour to me signifies the Order the most, so maybe do the same there?. For the parts with the Pact, no idea. - Doodleplex 22:29, 18 May 2016 (UTC)
(Reset indent) I'm hoping I'll have enough time to colour code the rest of the chapter 1 missions tomorrow. So far it seems Charr and Hylek don't get much love. -Chieftain Alex 00:30, 29 May 2016 (UTC)

Misc?[edit]
Just curious, are you maintaining a list of non-wardrobe skins? If so, I might have some to share when I get home tonight. I periodically peek at those too :) SarielV 16:06, 17 August 2016 (UTC)
