- I suppose. Two things, considering here's a good place to start. Firstly, why the hell does this even exist, as its GuildWars Wiki, not GuildWar1 Wiki. But w/e. Second, are all GWW sysops brought over here? Calor — talk 22:48, 20 December 2007 (UTC)
- Yep, GWW sysops and bureaucrats are the same here. I think it's for the time being though, until a proper RfA and adminship policies are present. --brains12 • (talk) • 23:21, 20 December 2007 (UTC)
- Ya, I kinda submitted a quasi-RfrC of all sysops in a discussion with Dir and DE. I think most, if not all will still be sysops after it. I'm surprised Eloc hasn't gotten himself over here yet. Also, I'm curious as to if GWW will simply die out, because I know ima be doing a load of editing the wanted pages next week over XMas break. Calor — talk 23:25, 20 December 2007 (UTC)
- Eloc will be kicking himself and his time zone :P. As to GWW, it probably will fade away. --brains12 • (talk) • 23:27, 20 December 2007 (UTC)
- Likely. To both. On a side note, brains, have you ever considered an RfA? You seem to know your way around the wiki and its coding well, and you're pretty cool-headed. Because reconfirmations are likely soon, and with only 10 or 11 sysops, another addition or two wouldn't hurt them. Calor — talk 23:30, 20 December 2007 (UTC)
- Someone should hurry and make a welcome template so Eloc can get started right away when he gets here :P --- Raptors / RAAAAAAAAAA!

- Very nice. I'm quite interested to see if that slate dirties, and how fast it does so. Also, it's quite fun spam-clicking Random Page. I ended up on articles I created (only 3) ten straight times. Calor — talk 23:37, 20 December 2007 (UTC)

- Aye, I want GWWT (or GW2WT) badly, and WikiSwap (So I guess we need AT also). But neither is overly needed yet, as there aren't too many mistakes made yet on this wiki as all fifteen of the major editors, the term "major" used loosely, here are very experienced. hi
i noticed i forgot your page for my watchlist... - Y0_ich_halt 22:55, 21 December 2007 (UTC)
- Your talk page has been on my watchlist for a couple months on GWW, and here since yesterday. Calor — talk 22:58, 21 December 2007 (UTC)
Leave a message
It links to the GWW, not here. -- br12 • (talk) • 23:17, 21 December 2007 (UTC)
- Heh, thanks. I c/p'ed the box, and forgot the add a message link wasn't a wiki link. Calor — talk 23:18, 21 December 2007 (UTC)
- the ironic thing is that Brains' link did that before too... -- ^Teo^ 21:48, 30 December 2007 (UTC)
Tyria Map
Considering a lot of you have my talk page on your watchlist, and this question pertains to GW in general, here goes:
On GuildWiki or GWW, there was a map someone made that was kinda a grayish color throughout. It had their idea of where Tyria, Elona, Cantha, and the Battle Isles were. Every single spot was labeled. I've been searching for the map, but can't find it. I've gone to the page a bunch of times before, but now I can't find it, and it's really annoying the hell out of me. Anyone happen to know where it is? Thanks, Calor (t) 05:25, 24 December 2007 (UTC)
Actually, I'm not sure that is quite acurate. I've seen one before where the battle isles are farther north, and Cantha is more northeast. The one I've described would account for Utopian lands, if they are ever released (in GW2). --Homestarunner93
- Perhaps, but I'm not as interested in relation to one another as I am in having all of them on one map. Calor (t) 21:50, 29 December 2007 (UTC)
My notes page
I saw the edit note re: my notes page. Just an FYI: the double E was intentional. See Wikimedia's Help:Magic words for the reason. Also, the page isn't currently intended to be subst or even inserted via a template - it's a cut-n-paste thing for now. As time goes by, I'll have other notes to myself on that page as well. --- Barek (talk • contribs) - 15:54, 28 December 2007 (UTC)
- Note: For that specific link, either E or EE will work ... I just use EE for all links just to be consistant - I use EE on some other pages where it does make a difference. --- Barek (talk • contribs) - 15:56, 28 December 2007 (UTC)

dude
you know when you flip between Gww and gw2w? well i was checking rc and pressed to see the dif on Brains talkpage from the last change.. (dunno why) and then i tried to switch to GWW i ended up on some strange page.. i might be able to get a pic, but do you have any explanation to why this happend?? ^Teo^ 21:47, 30 December 2007 (UTC)
- Now I'm tech support? Lmao, what's the world come to. Thirteen year old IT. But I believe it's because GWW doesn't have a page for that because the revision number is different, the users are different, etc. I can try myself and see what I get. Calor (t) 21:57, 30 December 2007 (UTC)
- I tested around a bit, and I see what you did (I think). The first try I switched and an error page on the wik came up saying an invalid title was requested or invalid characters, Return to Main Page. On the following attempts, it went to the same revision number instead of the same article because I suspect AT did WikiSwap, at least partially, by URL, so the whole thing that's oldid=&##### in the URL is the same on each wiki when using wikiswap. I ended up on the difference between edits to "Fansite" on GWW. Calor (t) 22:02, 30 December 2007 (UTC)
- hmm.. ok, i was just confused.. ^Teo^ 22:04, 30 December 2007 (UTC)

You have too many links on Special:Mostlinked. Also, your talk page takes up an extra slot there :P Doesn't count imo. -- Armond Warblade 22:47, 5 January 2008 (UTC)

- I'd rather link to my talk than my userpage. So take out User:Calor from #2. And Belar, at least all of my posts aren't "Hai2u". Your sigspamming is so blatant it's not even funny :P. But hey, it's a new wiki. Do what you want. Calor (t) 00:36, 6 January 2008 (UTC)

Grothmar
Would you mind pointing us to where that discussion was (Talk:Grothmar Wardowns) - anja 21:54, 16 January 2008 (UTC)
- That's the problem, as it was on Talk:Grothmar wardowns. :/ Lord Belar 22:50, 16 January 2008 (UTC)
- I can't find it in history (and I should be able to as sysop) so that seems to be wrong. - anja 22:50, 16 January 2008 (UTC)
- Grothmar Wardowns and its talk was deleted after an initial discussion about a week ago. I don't know how far sysop powers extend, and if said material can be viewed/restored. I'm fairly sure there was a discussion on that page about retaining or deleting the Grothmar Wardowns article, and we eventually (by consensus) chose to have it deleted because it was two lines of text, and mostly GW1-related info. Maybe the discussion was elsewhere, however. Calor (t) 23:19, 16 January 2008 (UTC)
- Must have been.. I can see the log and history of the article, but not the talk. Not even noted in the deletion log, so it was never deleted. - anja 08:34, 17 January 2008 (UTC)
- *deep sigh* I know I've not lost my mind... There was a discussion somewhere pertaining to that article and similar-quality articles, and the final consensus was to delete it. Calor (t) 19:28, 17 January 2008 (UTC)
- Further, after searching more, I can't find it. Considering anymore searching is likely pointless, let's continue the discussion on Talk:Grothmar Wardowns operating under the idea that there was no discussion. *shrugs* Calor (t) 19:41, 17 January 2008 (UTC)
