Intro

On 8/8/17, ArenaNet gutted the existing system of utility consumables and replaced it with something that really was not an equivalent. Maintenance Oils no longer give Precision, but rather Boon Duration. Sharpening Stones and Tuning Crystals still give Power and Condition Damage, respectively, but in lesser amounts. Nearly all of the consumables are now based on converting different stats. This leaves the question of what should you now be using, if anything at all?

• The charts below assume you are wearing a full set of ascended gear (weapons, armor, trinkets) that consists only of the stats named, no upgrades, and no relevant stat-increasing traits applied.

• The Furious suite of utility consumables, the Corsair Maintenance Oil, and the Drumstick grant bonuses to two statistics. The secondary bonus is listed in the Other section.

• Missing from below: Inconsistent sets (Shaman, Wanderer), utilities that don't affect stats (Bountiful Maintenance Oil being the only notable omission), Halloween utilities (these give a set bonus to certain stats after reviving an ally).
