Lady Embel Jing, also known as Embel the Malicious, is a human Spellbreaker. She is a close friend of Justine Xi, as well as a part of the Krytan nobility. As a daughter of a troubled family, whose generational trauma pits fathers and sons against each other, Embel was molded to be a ruthless warrior, partaking in bounty hunter across Central Tyria to fulfill her bloodthirsty nature and displays a condescending attitude against anyone she sees as lower than her.

Currently, she travels with Knelson Silverlake, serving as his strategic partner as they adventure to every corner of Tyria and fight off various local threats for golds and fame.

Personality

Embel is generally depicted as cold and unfriendly, thanks to her vitriolic remarks towards many people she comes across, particularly the commoners, making her ill-suited for any social gatherings. Nevertheless, she is often seen mingling with fellow nobles in Divinity's Reach, to whom she likely has a diplomatic relationship with and relies on as an asset relevant to her ulterior motives, which is to maintain her status-quo as a ruling class of Kryta, whatever means necessary.

Embel is also frequently described as a 'lunatic', thanks to her troubled background that enabled her malicious nature via bounty hunting, which gives her a free rein in terrorizing those who cannot fight back, whether legally or physically. Her sadistic nature, despite her 'good' deeds and strategic approach to her goals, puts her at odds against those with a moral high ground, who would only wish to work with her out of pragmatism and nothing else.

Embel is a standard Spellbreaker, who prioritizes expertise in handling various Arms and precise strikes, as well as Tactics to manipulate the flow of battle against her opponents.

While Embel primarily makes use of her Miao Dao and smaller bladed weapons, she is also capable of using a Spear and a Long Bow, as well as various traps and sieges if her plan calls for it. As a tactician, Embel generally avoids direct confrontation with her enemies, rather she would lure them into traps she has placed prior, putting them in an unescapable situation and leverage into her favor.
