Use your mount to sniff out and defeat burrowed devourers is a level 80 event that occurs in Prophet's Path.

These are the expected rewards for a level 80 player.
Walkthrough[edit]
While mounted, use the Smell Danger special action key, which will show you the direction of hidden devourers. Follow the greenish line till you reach the hidden spawn points, and stand on them (or close to them) for the devourers to appear. Kill the spawned devourers to decrease their population percentage. Repeat until the percentage hits 0, upon which the Devourer Queen will spawn.

- On event start
- Desert Guide Kakena: I assist refugees on their journey north to Amnoon, but the last group never made it this far.
- Desert Guide Kakena: I found their bodies in the dunes south of here. It looks like they were ambushed by devourers.
- Desert Guide Kakena: If the devourers are allowed to remain—or gods forbid, breed—this area will become impassable.
- Desert Guide Kakena: Please, root out the devourers and destroy them all.
- During the event
- Desert Guide Kakena: We're running out of time. If we don't hurry, the devourers will complete their breeding cycle.
- Desert Guide Kakena: Quickly, the devourers must be destroyed before they breed.
- Once devourer population reaches 0%
- Desert Guide Kakena: There's the queen! Kill her and put an end to this.
- On event success
- Desert Guide Kakena: Thank the gods, that's the last of them.
- Desert Guide Kakena: Now that the dunes are clear of devourers, at least this part of the exiles' journey will be less treacherous.
- On event fail
- Desert Guide Kakena: It's too late. The hatchlings are coming to the surface.
- Desert Guide Kakena: I'll let Ebele know of our failure. Hopefully she can limit the death toll.
