Just Speculations?[edit]
I wonder why my draft of this page can be deleted by a zealous user with a random IP address and an article about Sylvari which has even character traits without giving a source of the informations stands untouched. My article does nothing more than describing what can be seen in the GW2 trailer & concept art. Gorani 12:30, 23 August 2009 (UTC)
- I agree with the IP, though. I already believe that assuming Zojja is the name of the Asura in the image (as opposed to the name of a profession or the golems or the process of controling the golems or the factory seen in that piece of art or whatever) is pure speculation; stating that "Zojja" may be one of the companions in GW2 is just an opinion without basis on anything we have seen so far. Erasculio 12:45, 23 August 2009 (UTC)
- I don't think there's sufficient information regarding 'Zojja' to have an article about it - a red link indicating such would be better, in my opinion. By the way, I don't think there's any zealousness here - any user (whether registered or not) is welcome to edit constructively. I assume the Sylvari information has either come from The Movement of the World or interviews. -- Pling \ talk 13:10, 23 August 2009 (UTC)

Go to the Guild Wars 2 site, they have 2 videos which name each of the members, etc. Kalizar 02:39, 10 December 2009 (UTC)

Where She Say She Is From?[edit]
I put Botasum, but thats likely misspelled. What is the correct spelling for that place?--Knighthonor 19:39, 29 March 2010 (UTC)
- I dont really see the point putting on this page her talk in the video, when you can already find it here. 91.82.69.42 19:55, 29 March 2010 (UTC)
- Um... >_> That's Rata Sum, but... --Amannelle 20:18, 29 March 2010 (UTC)
- thanks for that fix. But this is a quote for her ingame stuff as well. Trailer was just the first part.--Knighthonor 01:54, 30 March 2010 (UTC)

Profession?[edit]
Any ideas on her profession? I'm fairly certain she's an Elementalist. In the Races of Tyria video, it looks as if she uses Earth attunement in one shot and then Fire attunement in the following shot. --Spigs 15:14, 8 May 2010 (UTC)
- She also uses an ice spell, if I recall. I think the Destiny's Edge professions are as following: Rytlock: Warrior, Logan: second soldier (paragon I believe), Caithe: an Adventurer using daggers (hard to tell which one), Zojja: Elementalist. -- Konig/talk 18:57, 8 May 2010 (UTC)
- Zojja is definatly an elemenatist. Watching the second traier, I saw her using earth, fire a water spells. Whewt. --aut /(t) 19:05, 8 May 2010 (UTC)
- But then what weapon is she using, if one? Does that gauntlet/Golem controller-thingy count as, like, a Scepter? Or something? Focus? Staff? Considering how weapons work, it would be pretty silly to go weaponless and sacrifice half your skillbar...not that I doubt we'll see peeple doin' that once the game comes out, andthen complain about being "limited" or "underpowered"...</rant> Zolann The Irreverent 23:51, 11 May 2010 (UTC)
- I'm pretty sure that her gauntlet thing is a focus that controls a Golem. That's what I think, anyway. Maybe Asura have their own focuses purely for Scholars that help them control Golems. Also, they might have the option to have a regular focus and get those benefits instead of having a Golem? --Spigs 13:41, 12 May 2010 (UTC)
- I think Edge of Destiny pretty much confirmed her as an Elementalist. She used a shock spell to blast Logan out of the way two times, and used fire from her hands to kill dragonspawn minions later on. I think she is never directly called an elementalist,(I might have read past it), so I'm not sure if it is confirmed or not. Nohjo 23:36, 2 January 2011 (UTC)

New Cynn?[edit]
It seems as thought she acts similar to Cynn is it possible she has become the stuck up hero and the one who interupts if so i think i found my new fav hero as i always loved Cynn.--IcyyyBlue ♥♥ 20:19, 23 May 2010 (UTC)
- As much as I did like Cynn, I think the asura mentality to be a stuck-up arrogant asshole, fills Cynn's archetype very well... :)--Xerelin 14:39, 27 May 2010 (UTC)
- Well people are already assumin Caithe is the new Eve, so i think Zojja will be the new Cynn. I wanna see a decendant of her lol! see how they are--IcyyyBlue ♥♥ 17:10, 28 May 2010 (UTC)
- True, and Zojja would probably seem more rumpled when someone interupts her, or contradicts her. That could lead to her being very vindictive, like Cynn. lol--Xerelin 17:53, 28 May 2010 (UTC)
- lol exactly thats why ill probably like Zojja cuz Cynn was my favorite(:--IcyyyBlue ♥♥ 04:37, 30 May 2010 (UTC)

- would that make Logan Thackeray the new Mhenlo? hmmm. Maybe not. Mhenlo is a little bit too light hearted. Maybe Devona.--Yozuk 17:33, 22 June 2010 (UTC)

- tbh, cynn didn't seem very stuck up to me, she seemed more blunt, rude and jugemental. zojja seems much like a typical asura, aggrogant, superiority of intellect and so on.Akbaroth 07:28, 11 July 2010 (UTC)

Suggest adding[edit]
Zojja: “Shut your talk-hole, bookah. Every time you open it, you drip stupid all over my floor.” The foremost apprentice of the venerable inventor Snaff, Zojja seeks to live up to her mentor’s legacy. Her work with the College of Synergetics has been outstanding, and her intellect is unrivaled even by members of the Arcane Council of Rata Sum, and her ability to multitask across a spectrum of disciplines inspires awe and jealousy among her fellow asura. Too stubborn to turn away from an unbeatable opponent, too tenacious to give up even when failure seems assured, Zojja remains single-minded, driven, and determined. Other asura pity those who stand in her way.

- Might want to avoid what is "essentially" the same post on multiple pages. Something combining all of these on the Destiny's Edge talk page would have been much less of a hassle. As for putting this on the page, I'm against it. Quoting doesn't really do much for us besides give us a tiny bit of insight on a character. Which all can be gleamed by the rest of the article. Which most of the important bits are already on the page itself. We could add tiny bits and pieces of the article you're showing, but anything more would be unnecessary. Eive 04:54, 25 October 2010 (UTC)
- Didn't see as it mattered much considering they're just talk pages. I'm adding in as the consensus on Eir's page seemed to be for it. Formatted as the GW1 wiki quotes are. Ruse (talk) 23:39, 28 October 2010 (UTC)
- Quotes are good. It transitions from "hearing about someone" to "Hearing from that someone", which makes it feel so much more credible because you can then create your own personal deductions based on it, rather than going based on what someone else thinks. It's like hearing it from the horse's mouth, instead of getting a summary from someone who heard someone who heard someone who heard them. :D --Amannelle 00:12, 29 October 2010 (UTC)

Should it be added that she is Snaff's daughter?Copper Legray 19:55, 26 January 2011 (UTC)
- "she is also the most skilled apprentice of the famed inventor Snaff," , Mind linking where it is said shes her daughter? --Neil • 19:56, 26 January 2011 (UTC)
EoD doesn't say that. Eive's IP
- For a moment, I thought that Zojja was indeed Snaff's daughter, due to the - I think three - mentions of how Zojja acts like how a daughter would around her father (one case, when Snaff runs off to start an avalanche with joy, the narration says Zojja looks at Snaff like a daughter watching her father dance). But these are nothing more than metaphores, or appear to be. Nothing explicitly states that they're really father and daughter, merely that they have that kind of relationship between each other. Think of it in the same way as Logan and Rytlock being brothers. -- Konig/talk 21:55, 26 January 2011 (UTC)
- Judging from the outside (yes, I still haven't my copy), it only sounds metaphorical. - Infinite - talk 21:57, 26 January 2011 (UTC)
- There is a line of dialogue where she replies "Yes, father" to a request from Snaff. But given there is little more evidence of an actual father-daughter relationship and given Zojja's personality it is probably a snark reply rather than an acknowledgment of parentage. -- aspectacle 22:06, 26 January 2011 (UTC)
- That came off to me as sarcasm. Mind pointing out the page/place in the plot? -- Konig/talk 23:06, 26 January 2011 (UTC)
- -_-, I knew you would ask that. I think it was one of the sequences when they were in Rata Sum preparing for a fight against a destroyer. I remember noting what she said because of what it might have meant for their relationship, but didn't note the page or general area. I'm pretty sure I read it yesterday so it'll be in the second half of the book. :D -- aspectacle 23:51, 26 January 2011 (UTC)

Image[edit]
A model would be better than concept art. And there is a model, so could someone more knowledgeable upload it? --217.129.137.199 04:23, 17 August 2012 (UTC)
- Just found out the wiki already has a render of Zojja. Still, it'd probably be better to cut it and reupload it (no need for the side and back views, and it would make the image more vertical, which would make it more visible). Same applies to Eir, btw. --217.129.137.199 04:30, 17 August 2012 (UTC)
