Increasing Participation[edit]

The meter in game is less precise and also hard to track while actively playing, especially when events overlap. I recorded most samples by hand/with screen capture replays but some are extrapolated, especially due to the 2016-05-03 patch which inflated all the values for faster progression. There are also some mechanics which may have been bugs or intentional (some events at the highest tier gave a higher boost than at lower tiers). Spannu (talk) 23:41, 5 May 2016 (UTC)

The occasional higher than expected values may be due to a ~3.5x bonus multiplier when canceling the inactivity decay. Spannu (talk) 23:18, 19 May 2016 (UTC)

Losing participation when exiting[edit]

The part about losing participation for exiting WvW seems incorrect. The other day I had to drop out of WvW due to a new build but I kept the participation even after I patched and re-entered WvW. 108.46.5.28 06:33, 10 July 2016 (UTC)

It's probably on a timer such that if you return within a set time, you don't lose your participation. -Chieftain AlexUser Chieftain Alex sig.png 09:49, 10 July 2016 (UTC)

Reward track increasement part of this wiki is not correct[edit]

After enabeling all 3 of the listed booster I only got the increase of the Guild Enhancement. So either the game is bugged. Or the wiki is wrong. What DOES help, and is not listed, is the HEROICS booster. I managed to get to 314 reward points per tick. Kuess 12:29, 20 August 2016 (UTC)

I am 100% sure Experience Booster works properly. As the base of 190 points per tick, you get 10% bonus from Guild Enhancement: World Reward Tracks and additional 50% from Experience Booster: 190 * 1,1 * 1,5 = 313,5 ~= 314. I haven't tested Celebration Bonus yet, but reddit says it's not working. The F. Prince (talk) 10:41, 20 August 2016 (UTC)

Feedback 2016/09/14[edit]

Perhaps it's worth mentioning that the current max reward track progress you can obtain as of 9/14/2016 is 312 per 5 minutes.

Feedback 2016/10/25[edit]

I'm wondering if anyone knows how many points a reward track is. Or more specifically, given that one Potion of WvW Rewards is 250 points, how many Potions would it take to fill up a track, assuming the track was at zero when you started. If that information is already on this page, sorry I missed it, but it wasn't obvious to me...

They added a number overlay *****/20000 in one of the last patches. So one needs 20000 points or 80 Potion of WvW Rewards to get the final reward of one reward track. Or having maximum tick of 195, one needs 103x the 5 minute timer, i.e. ~8h 35m to complete the reward track. And yes, it seems like these information is missing. Are there any more "non-veteran creature" events that reward participation?[edit]

For example, there are 3 events in the Alpine Borderlands: Ghosts in the south, Skritts in the northwest, Centaurs in the northeast. I'm unsure if the Desert BL has anything similar.
How many minutes will your decay timer be reset to upon successful completion of each event? How much WXP do they give? --175.137.4.77 03:17, 11 June 2018 (UTC)

28th January 2020[edit]

There was a patch on 28th January that stated: "As frosty corruption spreads across the Bjora Marches, both the drop rates and vendor costs for Eternal Ice Shards have increased." Source: https://en-forum.guildwars2.com/discussion/comment/1144108#Comment_1144108 Were the rewards from the Icebrood Saga Reward Track increased at the same time or did Arenanet neglect PvP and WvW as usual? 85.210.164.33 18:58, 28 January 2020 (UTC)

The rewarded Eternal Ice Shards have been doubled in the Icebrood Saga Reward Track. --Tolkyria (talk) 19:08, 28 January 2020 (UTC)
That's interesting (at least it's good that they remembered to increase them, but) because the players in this thread...: https://en-forum.guildwars2.com/discussion/96417/ice-shard-value-decrease ...say the existing Eternal Ice Shards are worth a THIRD of their previous value. If it were true, then PvP/WvW players aren't benefiting from the track as much as they previously were. 85.210.164.33 19:22, 28 January 2020 (UTC)

Shiver Emote Tome Reward Track (Champions)[edit]

This reward track's final reward is the 'shiver' emote, and is/will be unlocked by purchasing 'Shivering Ice' from a recruited faction vendor in Eye of the North. Inculpatus cedo (talk) 23:19, 18 March 2021 (UTC)

Thanks! Shiver Emote Tome Reward Track, assuming that's more or less a copy of Bjora Marches Reward Track. --Tolkyria (talk) 00:19, 19 March 2021 (UTC)
You are welcome. Thought you might edit this page, as well ;) I'm not sure how. Inculpatus cedo (talk) 01:26, 19 March 2021 (UTC)
Okay. Added the track with the suffix (future) on the according pages. We need remove this suffix upon release from the following pages: WvW Reward Track, PvP Reward Track, Template:WvW rewards nav, Template:PvP rewards nav. --Tolkyria (talk) 09:34, 19 March 2021 (UTC)
Fantastic! Thanks. Inculpatus cedo (talk) 10:23, 19 March 2021 (UTC)
