Is it January 3rd or 13th, main page says 3rd and a ad on side says 13th.

December 14 to January 3 And the Jan update will be later in the month most likely, but not comfirmed. So just be patient or just keep say "Oh god. Oh god." like your having a heart attack. Indeed, the sentence "Wintersday 2012 introduced Wintersday which was celebrated in Lion's Arch." is weird. It hasn't happened yet, so what's with the "was" celebrated in LA? Maar Ten 15:12, 29 November 2012 (UTC)

Someone in the future with more knowledge about the event seems to have wiped to original page and wrote some stuff that relates to Wintersday in GW1, I'm not sure if the Wintersday in GW2 will be the same. We'll see... --Landon144 17:48, 29 November 2012 (UTC)

Wintersday 2013

Currently the section Wintersday#Wintersday 2013 links to A Very Merry Wintersday (which is used for the current release) even though there's a page about that specific Wintersday: Wintersday 2013. Is this intentional? —Blackice (talk) 11:23, 18 December 2017 (UTC)

Naming scheme

We have:

• Wintersday: The Wondrous Workshop of Toymaker Tixx
• Wintersday 2013
• Wintersday 2014
• Wintersday 2015 and A Very Merry Wintersday 2015
• Wintersday 2016
• A Very Merry Wintersday 2017
• A Very Merry Wintersday 2018
• A Very Merry Wintersday 2019
• A Very Merry Wintersday 2020
• A Very Merry Wintersday 2021

What's the idea of this naming scheme, first "Wintersday" and then "A Very Merry Wintersday"? Why do we have two 2015 pages? --Tolkyria (talk) 18:47, 11 January 2022 (UTC)

• 2012 was released as "Wintersday: The Wondrous Workshop of Toymaker Tixx"
• 2013 it was just "Wintersday"
• 2014 and onwards the images started to include "A Very Merry"

The 2013 game update section already says "A Very Merry Wintersday", also the youtube trailer has the title "A Very Merry Wintersday". Festival overview pages is Wintersday, however, there also exists the disambig page A Very Merry Wintersday. So honestly I don't know. --Tolkyria (talk) 22:57, 11 January 2022 (UTC)

For what it's worth; the release page (And likely by extension the release article here on the wiki.) has it "A Very Merry Wintersday" from 2013 onwards, excepting 2012 (for which it is solely "Wintersday" in the overview and the same as here on the wiki ("Wintersday: The Wondrous Workshop of Toymaker Tixx") on the page specific - with respect - to the 2012 wintersday release itself.) and 2021 (for which it is technically open at the moment, though it seems likely that it'd be named like the others; if those before it are any indication, which also seems likely), so at least going by this then "A Very Merry Wintersday" seems more correct than "Wintersday" for all but 2012.
