Talk:The Test Subject
might still be worth looking into[edit]
"Usage of "expunged" and "REDACTED" are references to the collaborative horror series SCP Foundation." I want to agree with Konig Des Todes that this fact is incorrect. However the themes of SCP and the mission do have some overlap so there might be something there. Could anyone provide the context in which these words are used so i can check? - doc reference —The preceding unsigned comment was added by 178.85.35.221 (talk).
- I've never seen the series, but expunged and redacted are fairly common words when dealing with sensitive materials, which the Inquest most certainly are dealing with here, so it kinda seems like a stretch to me. - Doodleplex 02:58, 14 July 2018 (UTC)
- I would be rather surprised if it wasn't a reference but without confirmation there's still too much doubt to include it --Gimmethegepgun (talk) 05:24, 14 July 2018 (UTC)
- It's like claiming something is a reference to Cinderella just because there's a prince looking for a bride in it. It's that generic of a thing. If there were a dozen other references, then I could see it being something that got tacked on, but there aren't. Apparently the best people could think of is "LRP is close to SCP" (no, it isn't) and "Specimen Containment Terminal abbreviates to SCT which is close to SCP" (that's a pretty huge stretch of things; SCP means "Secure, Contain, Protect" so it's pretty generic as it is anyways). I would argue against there being an overlap of themes beyond the generic "experimentation with deadly stuff" which honestly overlaps with thousands of modern sci-fi fiction, like Resident Evil.
- Unless we can get a confirmation from a dev, there doesn't seem to be a relation. It's just similar broad themes. Konig (talk) 05:49, 14 July 2018 (UTC)

Feedback 2023/11/28[edit]
19:01, 28 November 2023 (UTC) Inquest Redundancies This includes the drones that are disabled, and thus made unattackable, by completing Drones Disabled, making the two achievements mutually exclusive. <----- This is no longer valid. As of 28 Nov 2023 I have disabled the drones for the achievement and have also received Inquest redundancies by clearing out every inquest in the zone.
