Talk:The Bifrost
Skill Animations Affected?[edit]
I believe that I saw a guardian with The Bifrost using Empower with a much flashier animation. Can anyone confirm if this skin affects the animations of skills and if so which ones are affected and how?
Norse reference?[edit]
Possible reference to the object in Norse mythology?--TahiriVeila 01:44, 10 September 2012 (UTC)
- Absolutely. In fact the burning rainbow bridge that the wiki page refers to is known by two names - the Bifrost and the Bilrost (prose and poetic eddas respectively). Coincidentally, Guild Wars 2 consists both these names; Bifrost as in the Legendary weapon, and Bilrost Gallery in Hoelbrak, which by the way, is featured on a bridge. Very fitting. --The preceding unsigned comment was added by 120.29.33.30 (talk).
Wrong stats[edit]
The stats seem wrong, my Exotic staff has 179 power, 128 precision and 9% crit damage. So it is weird that a legendary weapon has less stats. Is this a fake? —The preceding unsigned comment was added by Knabbergebaeck (talk • contribs).
- All legendaries have the same stats as exotics. Not more or less --The preceding unsigned comment was added by 192.168.104.82 (talk).
- That seems wrong and so do the stat's listed here for the bifrost. A legendary which is infinitely harder to acquire than an exotic of the same level should be WAY stronger than the exotic. One of my guild members almost has it crafted, I'll list the ACTUAL stat's of it here when he does. --The preceding unsigned comment was added by 192.168.104.79 (talk).
Wrong ingredients[edit]
The ingredients are wrong. You need The Legend of Rage + Energy Gift + Color Gift + unknown item, which is made by Battle Gift + Bloodstone Shard + 250 Obsidian Shards + Exploration Gift. Good luck. This is insane. --The preceding unsigned comment was added by 192.168.104.79 (talk).

That's all folks! I hope this is helpful to someone --Bunny - BunnyBomb Talk 15:17, 15 September 2012 (UTC)
Note: In theory, it is step 1.1 and 1.2 that changes for each Legendary weapon. The overall formula construction remains the same, and includes item 1.3 and 1.4 for all weapon types. --Bunny - BunnyBomb Talk 16:11, 15 September 2012 (UTC)

- Don't you mean first one who brags about it? There's not way to check if he's the first. 80.112.181.245 18:39, 22 October 2012 (UTC)
Mist Form[edit]
The note about Mist Form/Vapor Form getting unique animations is unseemly. Can anyone confirm that this effect no longer triggers (I would if I had one)? Does anyone know why- bug, or did ANet patch it out for some reason? If it was a deliberate change, we should move it as a historical note to a trivia section or something, and if it's a big we should mark it as such. – Emmett 14:05, 4 September 2015 (UTC)
