"Active Pet"

Can someone test if this rune works on all summons, or only ranger pets? ~ Fishrock ^(talk) 16:41, 24 October 2017 (UTC)

Either this set or the UI is bugged -- confirmed and tested that visually there is no dynamic update. When a ranger stows the pet, or merges, the bonus does not shift. Vice, versa, when a non-typical pet class summons a pet, the bonus does not shift off toughness. It's completely determined by the state when applied.--97.104.193.206 06:37, 26 March 2018 (UTC)

I find it pretty likely that non-Rangers are never supposed to get the pet bonus, since only Rangers have pets, others use summons of whatever variety. In order to see whether or not the Soulbeast part is the UI failing to update or the bonus not switching, the easiest way to test it should be to apply a condition to an enemy and then merge with the pet and see if the damage drops (obviously don't meld with a Deadly pet) --Gimmethegepgun (talk) 07:29, 26 March 2018 (UTC)
