Ender's game reference?[edit]
Could the quest name be a reference to Ender's game? I play Sylvari so I wouldn't know, but for human players who haven't read the books, the Speaker of the Dead is the main character, a tactical/military genius who brings an enemy race, the buggers, to extinction, and then writes their story for the rest of humanity to see and to get them to regret their killing. He then takes the last queen egg they've left and starts searching for a hospitable planet to resurrect their race at, while "Speaker of the Dead" becomes the title for a new type of priest that preaches a religion founded upon the book about the buggers' extinction. Is there something in the quest that resembles/references this and thus further underlies a connection? --The preceding unsigned comment was added by 85.187.152.3 (talk).
- There's absolutely nothing similar to that plot in this story step. It's called Speaker of the Dead because there's a priestess who is speaking with a spirit of the dead. Konig/talk 00:00, 4 October 2012 (UTC)
Krytan Royal Blood Line[edit]
