The masteries for Skimmer are incorrect. I've listed them below (copied from ingame). Feel free to remove the list, once it's been copied to the relevant pages. --Shakyr (talk) 09:46, 24 September 2017 (UTC)

  • Nimble Recovery; 381k exp; 2 MP. Learn to nimbly recover after being knocked off the skimmer and after engaging foes by using Barrel Roll. The skimmer will now grant you protection and swiftness when you're recovering.
  • Rejuvenating Revival; 3MP. Learn to enhance the rejuvenating properties of Barrel Roll to also heal downed allies.
  • Ride the Wind; 4MP. Learn to ride the wide and increase the height of the hover movement ability to conquer new challenges.
  • Nimble Benevolence; 5MP. Master the skimmer and learn to share the bonus from Nimble Recovery with all mounts.
Thanks, I've implemented the masteries you listed. —Ventriloquist 10:36, 24 September 2017 (UTC)

Skimmer and various hazards[edit]

https://redd.it/72xzal Interesting thread on Reddit about skimmer and what hazard it can skim over, maybe it could be incorporated in some way to this article? Sime (talk) 21:13, 28 September 2017 (UTC)

Model Size[edit]

Not sure if this warrants noting or not. It seems that the model scales with the size of your character. When I'm on my human warrior (which is nearly max height) my skimmer looks huge compared to others. I thought I noticed it with a charr riding a raptor earlier too. Has anyone else noticed this? Yep, just like weapons, a mount will scale based on the size of it's rider. So for example, a raptor being ridden by an asura will be much smaller than a raptor ridden by a norn. It probably should be mentioned on the main mount page, so I'll add it in. =) - Doodleplex 19:27, 4 October 2017 (UTC)
I've noticed that for the Raptor, the scaling isn't always in proportion to the size of the character. Charr look much bigger on their mounts than humans do, and Asura look much smaller. However, for a particular character race, the scaling does seem approximately in proportion to the size of the character. Cynique (talk) 09:53, 5 October 2017 (UTC)
