All lines![edit]
Everything it says! If anyone feels like it to guess and resolve what each one apply to, and write it down. – Valento msg 18:42, 4 November 2014 (UTC)
- Some of those belong to the X-r-tron gathering tools that haven't been released yet. —Dr Ishmael 19:15, 4 November 2014 (UTC)
Clank[edit]
A robot backpack, reminds me of Ratchet and Clank. Not sure if R&C was an inspiration for this piece though. ~ Sanna 19:03, 8 November 2014 (UTC)
- There's many pieces of gear in many games that talk to the user or comment on the user's actions, from Baldur's Gate's Lilarcor to Borderlands' Morningstar. MithTalk 20:39, 8 November 2014 (UTC)
Super Annoying[edit]
This backpack is the most annoying thing in all of existence in Guild Wars 2. If you want to annoy everyone around you - and probably yourself included - then buy it. It sure would be great if Anet had made it so only the owner could hear it and see its chat bubbles or a sound option to mute it without having to mute everything but it seems that annoying other users is its intended feature. - Agreed, I contemplate getting it, but at some point I think it would rob me of my patience and possibly sanity, lol. So I am still contemplating it. 158.58.158.23 22:37, 4 January 2017 (UTC)
New item[edit]
Yo, So a new, actual item, appeared a few minutes ago on the API: [1]. My guess is it is a replacement item of some sort. Usually I don't pay much attention to this, but this one has interesting flavor text which we do not seem to have yet. So what do? -Darqam 17:37, 31 May 2017 (UTC)
- I'd say toss the description into trivia with a link to the API for the unimplemented level 0 backpack. G R E E N E R 17:58, 31 May 2017 (UTC)
- It’s not a new item since new IDs are into the 80,000s now and it’s very close to the original so it probably came out at the same time. There are a few other examples of armour in the API with level 0 and they all tend to be unique skins from the gem store. It appears that it’s a work around for the transmutation system where this is the physical item counterpart to the consumable token. When you use the consumable it’s this back item and the other back item that get transmuted together. J.Tesla (talk) 21:28, 31 May 2017 (UTC)
- I think what Darqam meant about a replacement item is that Support may have sent that previously unimplemented version to a customer instead of the consumable. A physical level 0 backpack is a throwback to the pre-wardrobe days. As you pointed out, the backpack and consumable were made at the same time, but only the latter was obtainable via the gem store. - Pretty much the above. I'm aware that it's not "new" per say, and in general I know to ignore these items, however this one comes with a tiny extra in the form of flavor text which is not generally available; which is why I brought this up. I'll probably just add it as a note as recommended. -Darqam 22:25, 31 May 2017 (UTC)
