Talk:Renewed Justice
Quick question on what "renewed" implies; does this mean (A) Resets the passive Justice's triggering cycle (i.e. I swing 5 times, it triggers and lands on the fifth, mob dies, it then triggers again?) or (B) Reactivates the passive having switched Justice to active and set allies' weapons ablaze (i.e. I activate Justice, mob dies, passive Justice returns?) or (C) Some combination of both?

I'm pretty sure that Renewed Justice will reactivate the passive effect as if the next attack was your 5th swing. An example akin to your A scenario; after a kill you can land a hit on a new target, triggering the burning of your renewed Justice. I have no test information to actually confirm it at this time.I personally can't believe scenario B is the case, because killing is frequent, and an instantly recharging Virtue of Justice would be a staple trait on any guardian bar (simply because it's that strong if that is the case).- Infinite - talk 21:57, 19 May 2012 (UTC)- Mainly because of my lack of confirmation, I'm retracting my statement as it is speculation (which is not allowed on GW2W talk pages). - Infinite - talk 21:59, 19 May 2012 (UTC)
- "Renewed", in this case, means that the skill would be recharged. So, for example: if you were to activate your Justice Virtue while fighting an enemy, upon the enemy's death you Justice Virtue will be fully recharged and it's passive effect will once again be in effect. I had a wee play about in the stress test - it's great for spamming it! I hope this has helped! :D ~ ♥ Kailani! ʕ •ᴥ•ʔ 22:18, 19 May 2012 (UTC)
Kill Condition[edit]
I think the note that says you need to deal the final blow to recharge the virtue is misleading, and possibly completely wrong. I'm pretty certain it's dependent on whether or not you get xp from the monster that dies, which would imply you have to deal a significant amount of damage to it. I've found in Cursed Shore I'll hit a monster maybe twice or so and it'll die so quick that I wont actually get xp, and in that case my virtue of justice wont actually be recharged. However, I've taken down a significant portion of a monster's health before, moved on to a larger mob and would still get xp (credit) for the kill when the monster dies, and at that moment my Virtue of Justice would recharge. Imo, that note should be revised so it's more accurate. 75.80.98.75 04:04, 1 November 2012 (UTC)
- It's bugged, as far as I'm aware; even with "legit kills" that grant xp, I and others have had it randomly not refresh. It might be a timing issue. Maybe you have to engage an enemy, wait until the game has recognized you've engaged that enemy, then kill them? I know there are other issues that come up when killing several things very quickly, so I wouldn't be surprised if this is one of them. Vili 点 04:36, 1 November 2012 (UTC)
