Talk:Reanimator
MMs are back, baby[edit]
Is anyone NOT taking this..? A F K When Needed 19:07, 20 February 2012 (UTC)
- Doesn't mean that you can control it. Perhaps it just spawns (ie masterless). Venom20 21:23, 20 February 2012 (UTC)
- Since I just learned this change myself right now, and I know some others might not know either: minions are always allies when summoned. Previously Unsigned 21:09, 15 July 2012 (UTC)
Last I tried this it was useless as the minion degraded before it had a chance to attack more than once.Wolfgang Hype 22:17, 2 September 2012 (UTC)
Ok, this needs some testing[edit]
I already added the note I observed, how it functions like Soul Reaping in GW1 (dont have to do anything, just be in proximity to your team deaths). HOWEVER, I have observed some weirdness... I'll be running around solo (no aggro from minions or anybody near them) in sPvP and out of nowhere, the ground opens up and out pops a jagged horror. How is this possible!? It has got to be reanimator triggering but larger than 1,200+ range? That doesn't seem right. I joined with some people in Isle Of The Mists to test, by standing very far away while they killed things, but we didn't' see any jagged horrors spawn, neither at my location or theirs. Like I said, needs some testing. Previously Unsigned 19:52, 21 July 2012 (UTC)
- If you were standing very far away when your party members killed things, you wouldn't have gotten credit for the kill. But in sPvP when you do enough damage to an enemy and they get away, but die much later to an ally, you still get joint credit for the kill (and thus a jagged horror). This is also why you sometimes get random kill credits in PvE. 116.48.4.12 18:10, 3 August 2012 (UTC)
minion degen's far too quickly[edit]
The minion summoned from this is really worthless unless you use the death nova, even then it usually dies on the way to the enemy so the death nova effect area sits off to the side, useless. The problem with it is it's massive natural hp degen. I think it needs to be scaled back a little bit, or possibly make the minion explode on it's own like the summonable ones do (just not as much dmg that would be way too op) I've also noticed it rarely attacks anything, I assume this is just the usual minion bug where they stand around and scratch their rotten heads for a while. 192.168.104.81 17:40, 24 September 2012 (UTC)
