Talk:Personalized Wintersday Gift
From Black Lion Chest[edit]
I just got one from opening a Black Lion Chest that has the same icon as Wintersday Gift, not Personalized Wintersday Gift. The description reads only "Double-click to open." It contained 3 Delicate Snowflake, 1 Bottle-Shaped Present, 1 Bottle-Shaped Present, and 1 Bottle-Shaped Present. Adeira Tasharo (talk) 17:10, 7 January 2016 (UTC)
- That would be https://api.guildwars2.com/v2/items/68431. --BryghtShadow (talk) 17:57, 7 January 2016 (UTC)
- Another one yielded 1 Unique Snowflake, 1 Frostbitten Toolbox, 10 Tiny Snowflake, 1 Unsafe Wintersday Gift Adeira Tasharo (talk) 00:22, 11 January 2016 (UTC)

Many items listed in 'contents' are not available this year (2016). The 'preview' screenshot shows this year's available items. --Inculpatus cedo (talk) 10:11, 16 December 2016 (UTC)
- Would someone be able to take a look at the drop rate research pages, Personalized Wintersday Gift/research and [[Personalized Wintersday Gift/research2016]], to archive the 2015 data (since we have new drops) and see if the form needs adjustment like Chieftain Alex (who may not be back until 01/02/17) did to Trick-or-Treat Bags this year? I can't seem to submit to either. If it's not asking too much, could we also set up a drop rate research page for the regular Wintersday Gift as well? I'll be glad to contribute, but coding either seems a bit beyond me at this point. Adeira Tasharo (talk) 16:27, 16 December 2016 (UTC)
- I tried posting about this on the research talk page, but yes. I agree that the form could use an update. I tried to look into it but my knowledge of wiki code is limited and as far as it looks to me, the form should work. I could make the page I created (research2016) into an older form of data input (manual editing of values through editing), but I really like Chieftain Alex's way of creating a form for this, as he did with Halloween. Ultimately, I could create that page and just have to re-enter the values when he updates it. Sythe 16:34, 16 December 2016 (UTC)
- Ok, I think I have something working for that. I moved the old data to Personalized Wintersday Gift/research (2015) and left the old page blank of research Personalized Wintersday Gift/research. You should be able to work with that. If there is something funny with it, I can try to fix it. -Darqam 16:49, 16 December 2016 (UTC)
- Looks like it works to me! Glad I added the new items to this before it got fixed. We would have had to go back to it again! Sythe 16:52, 16 December 2016 (UTC)

Feedback 2016/12/18[edit]
It seems that the subsection of 2015 in the Contents section is causing issues with the Template:Contained in. I'm unsure of how exactly to change this section without either completely removing it or moving it into a different section. If anyone has any ideas, post them here.
