im curious about this 60 seconds cooldown, is that 60 seconds between activations on the same target, or 60 seconds globaly. example enemy 1 and 2 are both low HP, if i hit enemy one then imediately turn around and hit enemy 2 will they both be immobilized? The preceding unsigned comment was added by 129.7.17.221 (talk • contribs) at 16:16, 1 September 2012 (UTC).

It's 60 seconds before this trait can activate again, doesn't matter about targets. —Dr Ishmael User Dr ishmael Diablo the chicken.png 16:54, 1 September 2012 (UTC)

Is this when the thief is at low health or when his target is at low health? 198.228.217.151 22:14, 7 September 2012 (UTC)

50% s? how many seconds does this last exactly? cuz that doesnt make any sense--98.154.128.73 01:14, 27 October 2013 (UTC)

Speaking of cooldown, is the cooldown for:

  • when trait procs on low-health target
  • when your skill immobilizes so this trait applies poison
  • or both

In other words, will every immobilize proc this trait, or only every 20 seconds? Wyverex (talk)

the cooldown is only for the low health target, from what i can tell it always applies poison 24.113.243.219 01:08, 7 June 2021 (UTC)

WvW Split[edit]

With the PoF patch there are now three different versions of this skill: WvW uses the immobilize duration of PvE (2.5 s) and the poison duration of PvP (2s) and I have no idea how to document that here. Template:Game mode version doesn't look like it supports an additional [[Panic Strike (WvW)]] page (or I'm just too dumb to use it). Are there any precedents for skills with 3 different versions? Do we just add a note about WvW and be done with it? --Alcahata (talk) 13:38, 28 September 2017 (UTC)

No, you're not dumb for not knowing how to use that template, I'm too dumb for not considering Anet actually splitting a skill to be unique for every game mode! For now, add the note to the page and be done with it. This weekend I'll most likely catch up with my version history project and document the PoF patch, so I'll have to add some logic to {{Game mode version}} to properly reflect a skill that has properly been split for WvW. —Nefastu 15:14, 28 September 2017 (UTC)
Thanks for updating the template! Now let's hope Anet doesn't get the idea to split skills for WvW while leaving the PvP and the PvE version identical :D (seems rather unlikely though) --Alcahata (talk) 09:01, 1 October 2017 (UTC)
