Talk:Off hand

Is it off hand or off-hand? Or is it depending on the context? Because we're currently using both atm. Also, if it does end up being off-hand, do we change it to main-hand to suit? wow check out my gramdar...(Xu Davella 04:56, 6 March 2011 (UTC))

As I said before; an "off-hand weapon" goes/is equipped in the "off hand". I rectified a million times but people keep changing it back to fail-spelling. - Infinite - talk 04:58, 6 March 2011 (UTC)

Basically, if you're talking about the weapon/object. It's "off-hand" to appoint that it is being equipped in the "off hand". "Off hand" refers to the non-dominant hand; in GW2, this is the left hand. So "off hand" is the hand and "off-hand" the weapon type. This also applies to main-hand weapons (they go in the main hand). Obviously two-handed weapons are equipped in both hands, not two hands. - Infinite - talk 05:09, 6 March 2011 (UTC)

To be honest, I have always questioned the validity of that edit. I am pretty sure that there's currently no traits involved in "unlocking" main-hand weapon wielding in the off hand. - Infinite - talk 14:49, 28 January 2012 (UTC)
