Talk:Merchandise

Due to the artbook being merchandise, could this go on here? Even if it does have it's own article... --Naut User Naut Dark Blue Monk.png 23:09, 4 August 2010 (UTC)

Course; just link to the article in the caption.-- Shew 23:15, 4 August 2010 (UTC)
We could also link to the other books (Ghosts of Ascalon and Edge of Destiny). Although I would like to change the article a bit so we actually have more information about some items, like the calendar (such as release date - the date at Amazon is wrong -, content, and so on). Yeah, I was just lazy/like the look of galleries. :P-- Shew 23:18, 4 August 2010 (UTC)
They do look rather good. Maybe we could have a Books section and under it add only the gallery with the cover of the books, keeping more detailed content only for the other items. Erasculio 23:20, 4 August 2010 (UTC)
What if we have a category for images included in the calendar and link to it within the caption? I can understand having sections for items that belong to sets, but it just seems (to me) disorderly to have a section dedicated to a calendar.-- Shew 23:28, 4 August 2010 (UTC)

Toaster[edit]

I don't know if this counts as merchandise. As far as I know, it wasn't ever for sale. It was just given away. But the GW2 toaster is pretty famous as far as licensed goods go. SarielV 20 x 20px 18:34, 31 January 2017 (UTC)

For me "merchandise" = "stuff that's sold", so it being given away would make it more of a gift item, similar to the holiday cards that Anet sends out. - Doodleplex 18:56, 31 January 2017 (UTC)
I agree that the Toaster doesn't fit here but it's cool and I think it should have a page. The Wintersday Cards have a page. —Azurem 19:01, 31 January 2017 (UTC)
It's totally a cool toaster, but it might be better as note on the page in case hopes and dreams are realized and they start selling toasters. (Yes, I want one. XD) - Doodleplex 19:03, 31 January 2017 (UTC)
