Talk:March 2012: State of the Game
lol
oh man, I hope that people will go "YES YES MUST ADD VALUABLE THINGS TO WIKI AND ACQUIRE INGAME ITEM" 213.84.171.175 00:10, 1 April 2012 (UTC)
I'm unfortunately going to have to disregard everything here due to April Foool's for at least a couple days, but if it turns out to be true, I'm looking forward to hearing about the Chronomancer. And while I expected the game to be out at the very earliest during summer, mid-2013 sounds fairly disappointing.24.49.245.206 00:21, 1 April 2012 (UTC)
- It's already been confirmed to have a 2012 release date, and seeing as it's April Fool's Day, I can't believe early-mid 2013. OutlawJoe 02:29, 1 April 2012 (UTC)
- You're kidding, right? lmao. Anet controlling the dragons themselves in every battle? Surely you aren't considering this information possibly legitimate... 174.35.247.117 00:55, 1 April 2012 (UTC)
- Though a Dev controlling Zhaitan sounds neat, the exclusive social networking/wiki items and another year of waiting do not. Here's to April 1st. Karuro 02:14, 1 April 2012 (UTC)
- i guess i need to renew my cryogenic insurance policy if i really want to play GW2 and i was so looking forward to cancelling the policy to prepay for the game Rudhraighe 02:33, 1 April 2012 (UTC)
- My gf actually woke me up to verify this. Kudos to all those involved. Happy April Fool's day! Back to bed... — Gares 04:53, 1 April 2012 (UTC)

Shenanigans![edit]
However, I do like the idea of a human-controlled endgame boss... --The preceding unsigned comment was added by 70.183.73.162 (talk).
- I know... I was really excited to read that part for the .25 seconds it took me to remember it was April 1. Imagine the guy at ANet who has to do the Zhaitan night shift. ~ Bow
- As an endgame boss it is (obviously) unfeasible, but as a once-a-month randomly located event it actually might work; shame it is April fools' day as I also liked the idea of a human-controlled boss. :( Jarak 10:54, 1 April 2012 (UTC)
- They could easily use players to control the dragons. Like setting up a queue and randomize or sth. :P 217.246.56.149 10:58, 1 April 2012 (UTC)
- It would be so awesome if this were to happen -- I could totally see it being done on a large scale, once a month type thing. Then can you imagine if you let players compete for the chance to play it? Maybe even have a contest, with even a small entry fee you could forget about ever needing subscription fees! Too bad this isn't true, I really thought Arena Net would be adding something awesome. But GW2 will still be great of course. Naupathia 15:14, 1 April 2012 (UTC)
- Not to be a downer, but the saddest part about this whole bit is the fact that none of the actual devs ever post here despite a long history of GW1's 'Live Team' always having some kind of presence on the other official... (and some good fixes/updates having come from that interaction when they stuck with it). --ilr 21:37, 1 April 2012 (UTC)

Nicholas the Traveler??[edit]
Does this mean that good ole saint Nicholas the Traveler will still be handing out presents to good boys and girls? or will it be like futurerama and he will be killling all the naughty people he finds?
- "a certain great-great-great-great grandson of a certain traveller will travel across Tyria constantly to make you laugh."
I look forward to searching the future landscape for signs and portents Rudhraighe 16:39, 1 April 2012 (UTC)
